This cafe is in an awesome location at Eagle St right on the pier. I have been here twice for breakfast and they have quite a small menu but do some tasty dishes. Their breakfast quesadilla is very tasty. They are also a craft beer bar and I would definitely be keen to have some lunch or dinner or a quite Sunday afternoon having a few beers and soaking in the view.

Had a great breakfast here after a night away from the kids with the wife. Our breakfast was included in our package but the staff were still friendly and service prompt. My big breakfast had a great presentation and was very tasty. My only little complaint was I flagged one waitress down for some tomato sauce which never came, although I didn't need it anyway.

Had a great dinner at Black Bird with the wife on a night away from the kids. Despite getting a bit lost trying to find it and being hot and sweaty when we arrived it lived up to expectations. The service was prompt and friendly and my steak was great and my wife's kangaroo was very tasty. We had some great cocktails to go with it almost. For a fine dining restaurant the price was very reasonable also. My only complaint would be that it was quite noisy but would be a great place to go with a group.

These are seriously the best pies in Brisbane! The Goat Pie Guy is at my local markets once a month and I hardly ever manage to leave there without one. His pies are always tasty and fresh with great quality fillings and beautiful crispy pastry. The flavour and taste he is able to get out of them is incredible. He is always very friendly and willing to have a chat.

I had heard of this place as I am a fan of Patience from The Grates and worked out it was just around the corner from my work. It isn't much to look at as you walk in with things looking pretty haphazard but that is what it is meant to look like. It is quite hipster also which I am not massive fan off but the staff are nice, service is good and food is good quality. It is a different menu with a number of great sounding items, like the grilled cheese with truffled brie and salami. My breakfast tacos were very fresh and my wife's burger was great. My salted caramel shake whilst great in concept and at first taste was too sickly sweet overall.

My wife and I tried this little cafe out for lunch one day and were very impressed. It's in a quiet little area in Spring Hill but the food is very good. My wife absolutely raved about her Nicoise salad and I tasted it and was impressed. My pulled pork roll was very tasty with nice crusty bread that was soft on the inside and some flavourful pulled pork and coleslaw. My only complaint was the wouldn't swap fries for onion rings so I ordered some on the side also and they were good.

This mexican cafe is in a great little spot at Kingscliff on the main drag over looking the beach. When we were there they had live music which was great and you could see the ocean from our seats. The food isn't spectacular but it is good and the servings are very generous and the location makes up for any shortfalls. They were very quickly bringing out the entrees and the kids food however the mains took quite a while to come out which was a bit annoying. Definitely a great spot to kick back on Sundays and have some beers, cocktails or sangria and watch the day go by.

This is a very good little Vietnamese restaurant in Morningside. They offer a good variety of fresh Vietnamese food and their servings are huge! Although I wasn't massively impressed with the special pho it was huge for the price and came with all the trimmings to add as you like. The spring rolls however were spectacular, nice hot and crisp and not oily. A good little gem in the suburbs.

This is a decent little Asian dine in and takeaway shop in Morningside. They have a large range of noodle dishes as well as dishes served with rice. Its certainly not high quality dining but a good tasty cheap alternative. I had the peking pork with fried rice which as a lunch special for $10.50 it was great value. The pork was tasty and the batter nice and crisp and the fried rice was very nice. I will definitely be back at lunch time to check them out again.

Great mexican restaurant in Bulimba. This place gets busy and noisy so not a great place to go if you want a quiet dinner but great if you want to go out with some friends for a few drinks and some good mexican. They have what appears to be, I haven't been to Mexico, authentic dishes which are tasty. Definitely a place to check out in Bulimba
