Checked this place out with a few friends and although I walked past it once managed to find it and headed down the astroturf driveway. What I found inside was a great pumping bar with good beer. I was late so missed the dinner my friends had but they raved about it especially the maple bacon popcorn.
For some reason the Vic always seem to do a much better trade than the Exchange. I never know why as the Vic is grubby compared to the Exchange which also has a great open air bar. Much better option to go for a night out in the city.
I read in Urbanlist that these guys do amazing brownies. I visited close to closing time when there wasn't many brownies left so decided to try a Turkish delight chocolate bar which was great. The bar was moist and dense with a great taste of rosewater coming through. I must go back and try the cheesecake brownies.

I attended an event here during Brewski and was very impressed with the bar. I had been thinking of going here for a quite a while and was impressed to find a smallish bar which opens up into quite a roomy area at the back. I didn't try any of their food but the menu and food coming out looked good. One of the managers told me they do a big Thursday and Friday lunch which I will have to check out.
This is a massive pub and it is a bit hard to find where everything is the first time you go to it. We went with some friends and 5 kids so the kids room was great to allow the kids to run amok however they could have a few more things in there. The food was decent however was quite overpriced as far as pub standards go but luckily we had a 25% off voucher. Would definitely go back but not regularly.

You've got to love a pub connected to a train station. Gives you an excuse to have a beer whilst you are waiting for the training and possibly miss the next one or two. There's nothing amazing about this old pub but it's in a great location, has plenty of history and does cold beers and a decent cheap feed.
I have wanted to go here for ages and eat can I day the burgers are amazing!! Fresh and tasty and by gourmet burger standards cheap also. I love the ability to design your own burger and the fact all come with a side of chips. Definitely in the top 3 burger spots in Brisbane

Although not quite as upmarket as Gold Class these guys make up for it in service and cost. It's a great little cinema with good service and very reasonable pricing for what they offer being only slightly more expensive that a standard cinema while offering much better quality.

I used to use Alpha very regularly when I was doing FIFO work or traveling however after having three trips in a row where the bus took over 30 minutes to come and pick me up despite them knowing the time I was landing and ringing them to let them know I landed I refuse to use them again. One time I was waiting for almost an hour watching numerous other airport parking buses come and pick up their passengers and there was not even a hint of an apology or offer for a discount when I raised my complaint with them,.
This place is a deadset winner and a must go if you visit Mt Tamborine. They have an amazing range of delicious liquors and the guys there and so fun and accommodating. I can't go past the Turkish Delight every time I visit but they have something to suit everyone.
