It's like your own personal home theatre with even better service than you could expect from the hubby such a cosy and welcoming place to kick back and enjoy the latest movies! Very reasonably priced for the experience

This place was magical. The seats were so comfortable and the service was spot on. We don't usually do something so expensive but they had advertised a great deal for the movie with a discount on food so we gave it a go and we were not disappointed. We signed up for their newsletter because they regularly offer good discounts. We will definitely visit here again. A very beautiful and romantic night out.

Awesome cinema, we really love going here, feels very genuine and I love how they work with the local restaurant downstairs to provide food. It's cheaper than gold class and fun.

The cinema is convenient and love the renovations, BUT the corralling of patrons through the cordoned off area is entirely unsatisfactory. The bar area is empty because patrons must get back into the ticketing and food ordering queue to order a drink. Staffing is woeful and obviously a money saving attempt. Sunday night at the movies should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience, not one spent in a queue!!

Although not quite as upmarket as Gold Class these guys make up for it in service and cost. It's a great little cinema with good service and very reasonable pricing for what they offer being only slightly more expensive that a standard cinema while offering much better quality.

Approximate cost: $17.50

I was pleasantly surprised visiting this cinema as I didn't realise how different it is to normal cinemas. It's very trendy and cosy. The service itself is very similar to Gold Class cinemas in that you can order food and drinks beforehand and they bring it all into you when you are ready for it. The chairs were not that comfortable though, we were sitting in the back row and it felt like the chairs would normally tilt a little backwards but we just kept hitting the hard wall behind us. Also the tables in between the chairs for your food and drinks are so tiny you can only really fit 2 drinks on so we had our food on our laps the rest of the time. That being said the food was very tasty and generous in serving. Great for a romantic and cosy date night.

I was very impressed with the speed which we were processed upon arrival despite it being a Tue night and busy. We were also able to park underground which was very convenient as it was rainy. The food was delivred promtly on the requested time we had asked and it was very tasty.

Like Gold Class but with a more moderate pricetag and a much more intimate experience. The cinemas are small and cosy with comfortable seating and you don't have the two-by-two problem you get in Gold Class if you want to go with a group of friends. The staff were professional and friendly, I was impressed by the truly excellent service. If you value a happy experience over a giant screen, this is the place for you.

Went to see a movie here last night and I was pleasantly surprised, it's a great place for a date night with chairs coupled around little tables for food or drinks. The food was pretty good, I quite enjoyed the pizza and the chairs were pretty comfortable. I'd go here again.

I love this place as an alternative to the standard Gold Class experience at Event Cinema. It has most of the perks, with the comfy seats and the food and drinks that get delivered throughout the film as and when you want, without the same price.
It isn't as cheap as a regular movie, but for the seats and food I think it is worth it.
I have never had any problems with the food, it has always been delicious and we have really enjoyed the experience on every occasion.

The Blue Room is an independent cinema that is great for special occasions. The prices are a bit high but you get what you pay for. The chairs in the cinema are comfortable, which is great. Overall they are a good cinema for a good night out or for special occasions.

This great little cinemas/bar is tucked away in Rosalie catering for the more cultured cinema patron. This quaint little cinema negates the need to spen $40 on Gold class tickets if you dont mind rubbing shoulders with others to indulge in food and beverages in more intimate sized cinemas. My favorite feature was definitely the drinks waiter button that can enable you to get refills without having to miss you movie.

My boyfriend and I got a deal through livingsocial.com. We had to weight 5 minutes before being served, while others who came after were served first and the pizza oven was broken, which meant that my boyfriend, who has a seafood allergy, could only eat one thing from the menu.

The cinema chairs were comfy and there was very little disturbance when the food was brought to us but the food was average at best.

This cinema is great because you can eat and drink inside! You have to get used the the waitress ducking in and out and the fact you cant see you food because its dark but I still think its worth it. The cinema seats are super comfy with cushions too! It is quite pricey though.

Approximate cost: $50

Good experience of enjoying a movie with tasty snacks. However, I found it a bit disturbing as snacks are served in the middle of the movie. Since it is not a big movie theater, the screen is not also big enough.

Love the Blue Room Cinebar! It's like Gold Class but without the Megaplex syndrome. Staff are always friendly, the food and drinks served are good quality and they always have the latest movies on. Better reclining chairs would be nice. Order a cocktail to drink with your movie.

Aside from the fact that Rosalie is a very stressful place to find parking, these cinemas are admittedly quite decent. Good atmosphere and good value for money. However, the in-cinema food was pretty ordinary, the cinema screen was pretty small, and the audio quality was not the best. Otherwise a good experience.

Great cinema - it has the quality of Gold Class, without the price. The chairs are very comfortable, they have an interesting range of movies and they even have gelati from the excellent gelati place downstairs!

Great little out of the way cinema. The staff are the ultimate cinema buffs and they're no annoying school kids to snigger and snot in the back row. Just enjoy!

This is a boutique cinema with a bar and balcony dining attached. The menu comes from the Thai Restaurant downstairs. We ate on the balcony and then ordered drinks and ice cream to be brought in to the cinema. They can get busy on weekend nights, so you may want to get tickets a little earlier.
