Have been meaning to check this place out for a while and I saw they had a bunny chow promotion on so had to check it out. The bunny chow is a mexicanised version as you would expect it a fusion restaurant but it was really good, there was a good amount of spice in the curry and the salsa, guacomale and sour cream worked really well as well as the fresh focaccia. Would definitely go back to check out the rest of the menu.
I was a bit put off by the waitress at first he seemed reluctant to seat us after we informed her we didn't have a booking, despite the place being virtually empty! The food was of good quality though and they have a good little children's play area as well to keep the little ones entertained.
Was pretty impressed by the selection at Asana, I have dabbled with Paleo eating before but sometimes find it a bit try hard. The octopus and chorizo starter was really good and tasty and I loved my steak with bone marrow. My wife's macadamia crusted chicken snitzel was good also but didn't think it was up to the quality of the steak.
Approximate cost: $32
The breakfast menu sounded great however I was a little disappointed with what was served up. The bacon was hard but not crisp and I wasn't a massive fan of the flavour of the chorizo. Their pizzas for lunch and dinner are great though.
Approximate cost: $20
It's pretty decent Greek food in a good setting but there is better just around the corner and also other areas in West End. I thought it was slightly overpriced too.
Approximate cost: $30
Thought I would check it out as it was close and sounded interesting. It wasn't too bad but I thought both dishes lacked flavour and the samosa like entrée were overcooked.
Approximate cost: $12
This place was pumping when I visited but they still had great service. The San Choi Bao was decent but the beef pho really stole the show, it was amazing!
Approximate cost: $11
Absolutely great slow cooked beef brisket on fresh baguette with great dipping au jus and side of chips. Topped off by extremely quick service and this is a place I can't wait to go back to try again and again.
Approximate cost: $12
I was very impressed with this place as it is only new but doing a roaring trade at the moment. The staff were kind enough to seat me in a quiet area though because I had the kids. They have a great range of starters, I would have preferred if the mini corn dogs had normal frankfurters rather than the sausage but the mac and cheese croquettes were great and good wings. The burgers were good, not out of this world but good quality and a great amount of bacon on them. Would definitely be back
Decided to check this place out as I love a new pub with craft beer. It's in an interesting location on a main road and doesn't really have a great vibe or atmosphere but they have a good range of local craft beers and a great menu. The chilli chicken bites were awesome and the dipping sauce was amazing! My pork belly was fantastic too.
