At World Bar on a Saturday night (Australia Day) their male security manager assaulted a close female friend after she tried to take photos of him. He started by pushing her and no other security guards came to her defence.
When she asked him if he'd like if someone did to his sister he PUNCHED HER IN THE HEAD & SHE FLEW INTO A PARKED CAR and pushed her again after she tried to defend herself.
This was in front of the long lines and huge crowds all along Bayswater Rd with many witnesses and other security companies & guards to intervene. This was then reported to police and is under investigation with World Bar CCTV.
I love the Kent St apartments as they're a bit cheaper than the world tower rooms but still across the road & offering great views. The rooms are always clean & enjoy them as they are modern. I love the location the most as it is close to chinatown & just behind George St. The unfortunate thing is you're unable to use the balcony for smokers which obviously still has people smoking inside. I always try to book this when needing a night out.
Wotif is extremely helpful in providing the lowest prices for each location. I search in sydney which brings up extensive search results each time but find some overseas locations are not as extensive. Not sure about the mystery bookings which entice me but we always have a location in mind. I love using wotif for cheaper bookings than the meriton site for the meritons in sydney CBD
This place is a bit pricey but its for great quality food. They do awesome beer battered chips & grilled seafood combos. The chicken burgers are also great

This place does awesome all you can eat sushi dinner for $25 per head. I had a phase where I bought everyone I knew there & we went there w/ large groups for many occassions. They provided us w/ large platters for the big groups but w/ smaller groups were able to order as much as we wanted, it was great!
This place does great pastizzi & has a great variety of savoury & dessert ones. They're also open til pretty late so great after dinner or a few drinks.

Love the $6 lunch specials everyday! Love going here w/ my student mates when we're always on a low budget as the servings & lunches are really yummy & great for value. There's also the newtown thai2 which is just up the road for more menu variety
The length of time this has been around is an example of how great the food is here. Love the home made baked vegetables & sides more than the chicken. This place is always busy & have a great variety of hot food
Love Doytao Thai. I usually go to the glebe one but newtown is better because it's bigger. The best thing to get is the padthai as well as the bbq anything - lamb/chicken/pork. I havent been able to find any other bbq dish like this. There is lots of good thai in Sydney but this would have to be my favourite hands down

Best ribs in sydney hands down. You'll most likely be waiting for a seat at dinner if you havent booked so always try to make a reservation. The takeaway burgers are a bit pricey but definitely worth every cent as well as the fries!
