Husband took me here bleeding from a fall on 16/6 at around 6pm, I sat on a chair while he spoke to the sole receptionist on duty. She had a quick glance at me from her chair and declared nonchalantly that I have to wait an hour as there are 9 patients ahead of me. I was in so much pain but had to limp my way back to the car to find another medical centre. For a registered medical practice, this is an appalling way to deal with a medical emergency.

As an avid gardener, Northlakes Bunnings has always been my trusted source of quality gardening tools and plants. It is large, has ample parking, carries an excellent range of gardening products, has good returns policy and as a bonus, it is situated next to my other favourite store Costco. I find 99% of Bunnings staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help when approached. When I recently experienced a problem and provided feedback to Northlakes management, they took my complaint seriously which showed that they really care for their customers. Mick, who handled my complaint responded promptly and was very courteous and respectful. It is staff like Mick that keep us going back to Bunnings.

We just had an airconditioner installed by Sam and Lachlan from Loveday Electrical as arranged by The Good Guys where we bought the unit. We find these 2 electricians super efficient, courteous, helpful, informative and professional. They turned up on the day as scheduled and installed the unit in no time and minimal fuss. Their administration was also efficient, keeping us informed and confirming schedule throughout the whole process. Would be happy to use this mob again.

If you’re looking at replacing your laptop screen (or know anyone who need their laptop screen replaced) we highly recommend LaptopPanel.com.au. This business delivers excellent value in terms of price, availability, fast delivery and customer service. Prior to ordering, we first inquired via email where we were responded to promptly by Monty who was polite, professional and knowledgeable. Ordering through their website was a breeze, the screen was delivered in a flash and post sales service was excellent. We have no hesitation in dealing with this business again.

Had lunched here recently with friends. We ordered their lunch specials: fried rice, sweet & sour pork and pad see ew. Food is not as traditional but nonetheless quite tasty and flavourful. Comments from the group: servings are not very generous, the staff that served us wasn't welcoming (unlike the owner who always smiled and greeted), and lots of loud cackling in the kitchen.

I’ve downgraded this business’ star rating to 1 (zero if there was an option). We’ve been loyal customers up until now when I had to return my car for brake pads that wore out after 17 months of use, see Google review. Instead of thinking customer loyalty and some form of compensation, the owner turned defensive and blamed everybody else except himself. We're very disappointed. I called RACQ to get some insight about brake pad use and am glad I did as I even got a list of reputable mechanics in my area. Next time, I will not just shop around, but will ask the experts first for advice.

An unassuming gem in the heart of Toowoomba. We ordered Pad Thai, Pad See ew, and Stir fried pork with cashew. The dishes were all generous, saucy, tasty and served with lots of colourful vegies (love vegies). Probably not fully authentic but still offers good food, great value and friendly service. If you're visiting Toowoomba and don't mind a humble, unpretentious place to eat, this is it.

Good value particularly for 'movie of the week' movies. However beware of different cinema locations charging different prices for their movie of the week. I normally pay $8 but new cinemas like NorthLakes charges $11 for the same movie of the week. Haven't worked out why the inconsistency. Just ring around before you book so you know which ones charge more around your area.

Friendly staff. There was a bit of a queue ordering food, pork roast of the day was tender but very dissapointed with the sides. Very little crackling (size of my thumb!), corn was sliced sooo thinly (i estimated about 6 to 10 people had shared the same cob!), zucchini was overcooked, watery and not enough gravy, added a ton of salt as it was lacking in taste. Plenty of room for improvement.

Value, Service, Honesty, Expertise. These are just some of the words to describe our recent dealing with MLink. If you’ve tried the rest, come and see the best. MLink is a no frills, local family-owned and ran computer and phone repair business located at Northlakes. Proprietors David and Patricia are humble, honest IT professionals who walk the talk. We brought our laptop for repair and they quoted, fixed and delivered as agreed. MLink preserved our trust in computer repairers which was recently tarnished by a computer repair franchise who tried to rip us off. If your current computer repairer’s quote and assessment sounds fishy, get a second opinion from MLink. After our dealing with them, we’ll never go elsewhere for computer repairs.
