When I was let down badly by the Suburban taxi I had pre booked not turning up (see my review for Suburban) I contacted Adelaide Independent Taxi company and even though it was peak traffic time, they managed to find me a taxi so I could get to my important appointment for the special tests which were only being done that day. I had let the specialist know I would still be coming but would be late. With the help of the lovely driver Hifizat, I managed to be only 20 minutes late. Thank you Adelaide Independent Taxi company for your excellent service and help.

No service
I pre booked a taxi the night before to go to a hospital appointment. I added an extra 10 minutes in case it or we were delayed due to peak hour traffic. The next day, when it did not arrive, I phoned Surburban and was told there NO taxis in my area. I reminded the lady that I had pre booked one the night before, but was informed that there were no taxis available and just because I had pre booked one it did not mean I would get one!!! She suggested I try another taxi company. So I did and fortunately was only 20 minutes late for my appointment. I had let the specialist know I would be late due to the taxi company’s incompetence. I will NEVER book or travel with Suburban again and will let all my friends know of Surburban’s non existence service.
