A quick visit to the day surgery suite yesterday. All went as scheduled and the staff are very friendly which is a help in these situations.

Stopped here for a coffee while on our homeward journey. Have previously eaten here and find it a friendly place with a nice light menu. As usual we enjoyed the break and the coffee.

The store sells fresh vegetables, fruit sourced locally and organic produce. Gluten free options available, Health foods and natural foods. Very nicely set out. Was happy with the fruit and veg we purchased. Another store to visit again. Great to support SA

Purchased steaks from here on way home from Milang. Really good eating and noticed that these butchers visit farmer's markets which is helpful to those who do not live in Strath. Will be purchasing more when passing through.

While here we came in and selected one of the shiraz wines. Tasted others and enjoyed learning about the wines in this area. Friendly and helpful tasting staff with a lot of knowledge.

Made another visit to Newmans horseradish outlet while in the area. A lovely selection of different varieties are available. The beetroot and horseradish was my choose this time. Well worth a visit. Also to the adjacent winery.

We had dinner here on our last night in Milang. It seems to be a focus point of the town. Enjoyed fish and chips, fresh and nicely cooked. Old pub with an olde worldy atmosphere.

A mini mart which stocks a variety of basic goods. Milk, bread, groceries and even DVD's to rent. Very busy during holiday times and a must for the local residents. A great service for the community.

Another cellar door that needed a visit was Bremeton Wines (after the Bremer River). Once again enjoyed looking and only a little tasting. Lovely cellar door area with friendly staff explaining the wines. This area is quite special for wines and so we left with a nice rose which was a cab/shiraz. A bit different. Well worth a visit.

On the way to Milang we had lunch here. Another visit to this popular store. Very busy but able to obtain a table and eat inside. Nice pies and sausage rolls which were enjoyed together with milkshake and a coffee. Friendly helpful staff too.
