I had my whole house recarpeted with Carpet Mart.

I got a fantastic deal and ended up getting end-roll prices for the lounge + dining for pure wool carpet, and put synthetic in the bedrooms (we were doing this on a budget and the floor space to be covered was huge). We matched colours fairly closely so it all looked quite good at the end. If the owner hadn't suggested the roll-end we'd have ended up with synthetic carpet the whole house through - which was nice enough but the wool carpet was a pleasure to walk on.

The carpet had to be joined in a couple of places and it was done very well - practically unnoticeable. We also had a couple of tricky spots with skirtings/doors and steps that were dealt with well.

The owners were very friendly and easy to talk to, and helped a lot with advice - even giving us help with part of the house where we weren't going to install carpet. They also put me onto overlocking, which I didn't know about before; basically rather than shelling out huge $$$ for a rug, you can pick up a cheap end-roll of carpet and then have the edges overlocked to turn it into a rug - whatever size you want, and it can be a fraction of the cost of a pre-made rug.

I highly recommend this family owned and run business and I will use them again if I need flooring solutions in the future.

Very pleased with all aspects of the installation of our new carpet through our house. The price was very good, the advice and support was excellent and the quality of the laying was great. Pavel allowed us to space out the installation over several days so that we could move furniture from room to room and was able help us move some of it. Highly recommended.

Great service and workmanship. The person who originally came out and provided the quote knew exactly what was required and highlighted any potential issues and included these as potential add-ons should they be required.
They also addressed our specific requirement regarding having a thin metal strip (rather than a 20mm plastic strip) where the vinyl planks met the carpet areas - something others didn't seem interested in doing.
Price was fair and reasonable.
All in all a great job and would thoroughly recommend.

Pavel made the process easy and stress-free. He showed me carpet suitable for a rental property and also some end of roll vinyl. I had done a rough measurement of the area but was grateful that he did a check measure as my estimate was 5 lineal metres short for the carpet and my kitchen measurements were way out. The carpet and vinyl were laid promptly. The end result looked great.

Staff were very helpful, price was good, and the whole exercise was problem-free. Carpet square was delivered in quick time and the delivery chap even helped place it under the sofa for me. I was also given a lot of very useful info. Would highly recommend this company.
