Outstanding quality food. Home made/home grown. Small lunch menu, much larger breakfast menu but breakfast menu is available until 2:30 pm. The only thing I didn't like is there is no indoors seating, only outside protected by plastic or right outside.

Top quality dining destination in a tiny country town 18 km off the main highway through Gippsland. This place is worth a detour but book ahead if coming on the weekend.
The meal was superb. I had the Blue Grenadier and, honestly, it was the best fish dish I have had at a restaurant in well over a year.
The staff are amazing, service was excellent.

The tea rooms are inviting and suitable to large or small groups. There is a very wide range of food and drink to choose from with Devonshire Tea a signature.
Attached to the tea rooms are a deli, ice creamery, bottle shop and bakery. Worth dropping in to browse around.

Efficient, friendly staff. Wonderfully hearty meals - I looked around and everybody had a delicious looking, generous sized meal in front of them.
I also recommend the smoothies which come in three flavours.
Inside seating arranged so that you are not squashed in.

The people working at Club Officer are very friendly and helpful. The service was prompt and the restaurant (bistro) was clean and tidy. I just can't recommend the food.
The Classic Fish and Chips was very disappointing.
Watery flavour, served in a silly wire basket with a small bowl of either salad or veggies.

We stopped in for a mid week breakfast. The cafe is quiet and service is good. The food was delicious, I recommend the Big Breakfast!
In addition to the seating inside, there is outside seating on the pavement and in the back yard. We were there on a HOT day and were quite comfortable.

As a walk-in cafe they are only open on Sundays.
The Sunday menu is very small (only two choices) but absolutely delicious.
I chose the Devonshire Tea.....the scones were magnificent!
Each place setting is a unique old style teacup/saucer/plate, the kind grandma used to keep for best.
The cafe doubles as a gallery and there are artworks and fine craft pieces on exhibition and sale.
negatives: the parking area is not well defined & the background music wasn't right for the setting/ambience.

If you want a retro 1970's haircut, this is the place to go. I had a perfectly fine modern hairstyle and decided to try Opal Hair.....I came out with Kate Jackson hair (Charlie's Angels 1976).
Ugh, they ruined the cut.....I am never going back.

I did the Sweet Dreams Walking Tour (max. group size: 8). Total walking distance: 1.5 km at South Yarra - tour takes three hours. We visited five shops and were given tastings at three. Bring an insulated bag to put your purchases in (no pressure to buy anything if you don't want to). If you like cake, slices, macarons, chocolate etc. this tour is very worthwhile.
Very high quality food!

Had the fish & chips & salad. It was beautifully cooked & presented however I have never considered Salmon to be a classic ingredient in fish 'n chips.
