Last night we had dinner here to celebrate a family birthday. It was carvery night being a Sunday so that was my choice. There were pork, lamb and beef roasts on offer and large amount of meat was placed on my plate. Roast vegetables were self serve .
The dining room was packed so it was lucky we had a reservation.
We had the king George Whiting fish and chips and the garlic prawns with pasta. Food was great and service was excellent.
Very comfy chairs... some where a bit too low.
Otherwise, the drinks were cheerful and they serve everything in disposable plastic cups.
Not good for the environment, but I would assume the recycle if not wash and reuse.
Our son's birthday is this week so we went out to this hotel to celebrate. Great location and menu. Friendly staff and white table cloths and good glassware which always gives a good impression on arrival. Extremely busy in the multiple dining areas but our meals arrived in a timely way. I enjoyed my special Tbone steak (not a cheap meal) and...
This is one of the iconic early hotels built in Adelaide which is Federation style but has been recently renovated. It has an interesting menu using a lot of South Australian produce. I enjoyed a beef burger which was very filling. However as I was meeting with friends who talk a lot, I had a lot of time to consume it. It has a very nice bee...
Just back from lunch with a group of friends. We booked for our Christmas get-together here and had a good time. We chose the buffett which cost $18 plus using our senior's cards. The buffett had a good selection of dishes which were replaced at appropriate times and in the dessert section pavlova and icecream and other items that seem to be ...
Just had lunch with some friends here in this old on the outside, modern on the inside hotel. This hotel has been here for nearly 100 years (or even more) but is a great place to enjoy. Very modern bistro with spacious seating, friendly staff and an interesting menu. I had the Queensland black tiger prawns with a salad (just for a change) and...
I believe this is the main pub in Willunga, seems to be the one that has the most clientele. It has nice quaint homey look/feel to the place. Had the Salt and Pepper Squid, very nice. Will definitely be coming back
Approximate cost: $25
Meet some friends for coffee at this seaside hotel. They have developed one part of the hotel to be more of a cafe and it has inside cafe seating and also outside seating in protected area. We enjoyed our coffee and a very long chat. This is a great hotel either for a hotel meal or a cafe snack etc.
