This place has been here longer than I can remember. A good old fashioned bakery in the heart of the one of the most high turnover shopping districts in the world. Great shop for a good old dirty meat pie, cooked to perfection, and maybe a cake or two. Like a country bakery in the middle of Prahran.
Dirty meat pie is right. That place was filthy in the kitchen.
I went here on my child's request to get him a doughnut or two, the doughnuts from here for a child are really tasty, this is literally the only shop my child will eat a entire doughnut from, and not just the icing. I really enjoyed the mocca cake finger bun, and the lemon tart is so delicous, the service is good, friendly and prompt. THey have a variety of cakes & slices. The only bad thing its really hard to find a carpark.
Theses guys have a great range of pies , cakes, drinks and the service is very friendly and efficent. They are very well priced, I really like their gingerbread, their quiches are also great to.Defently go their for a nice lunch when in the Prahran area. I specially stop here to get my son a treat when getting him from kinder.
I chanced upon Williamsons after an appointment on Chapel Street, and a happy find it was! The pies are delicious, and while I've not tried any of the large range of sweets they have, they look pretty good. Definitely a go-to for a good pie!

BEST Vegetable Pasties in Melbourne. Every time I think of this place i just have to have one! They are great to freeze and every time i go there i buy 10 just so i have some in stock in my freezer at home.
