We had a reoccurring fortnightly booking and every time we would get a text on the Thursday we are trying to secure a cleaner for tomorrow then I’ll at Thursday night. Sorry we couldn’t get a cleaner we will get one for Saturday. Then on Friday we would get a message sorry we can’t get one for Saturday. What is the point of a reoccurring booking if you can never get a cleaner. Very annoying and leaves us stranded.

I was a former service provider for UrbanYou, and I do not recommend anyone to sign up with this company. In the beginning, they encourage us that they will support us at any issue, they will be fair with customer complains, but that's all bullshit. The only thing that they care about is the customer and them. They have no regard for the service provider. They have made up some bullshit policies that would only benefit the customer and themselves not us, "like the customer does not have to physically be present at the property while the job is being done or even to be present at the end of the job to check whether it's completed". And afterwards, if the customer gives bad feedback about the job we will have to re-attend the job at our own cost, which is quite unfair. They will always send us the bad feedback received but never good feedback. I get two different types of feedback that is provided by their customer service and another one from the head of the support team. And even though I try to justify the matter some the idiots in their hierarchy will not try to understand. They have included services which aren't possible doing in the given time, for example, cleaning a dirty oven from one hour. The worst part of all is making theories of their own and they remove us from their system without any prior notice or warning, suddenly one day you get a call from an UNGRATEFUL RUDE women named Cindy (So-called head of the Department) saying that your business does not suit our standards and will no longer have you in our system. No discussion or considerations, just the decided and that's it. I will not recommend anyone to work with these ungrateful bastards!! Do not take the opportunity to be disappointed!!

I had a gardening service done a couple of weeeks ago. I live on a rental property and the yard was over grown as neither myself nor my partner are good with gardens. We tried to keep it reasonable but finally relented and paid for a service. Rob, the gardener who did our job, was AMAZING! He was very professional, worked hard and fast and has turned our yard around and looking so much better. He was able to provide me with advise on how to maintain my yard and armed me with some brands for weed killer. He knew what he was doing and I cannot thank him enough for what he has done. I am now getting a post reno clean done in 2 weeks time and cannnot wait to see how the team does!

The cleaners who attended my Spring Clean that included everything as normal plus windows, sills, balconies, fronts of cupboards, kitchen cupboard internals including removal and replacing of my pots & pans and crockery, was done with such care and was more than I'd expected. I was excited to walk through the front door, as it "felt" clean, and as one does, when going through, I was checking corners of the room, skirting boards, window sills, under tables and chairs etc for dust, and the cleaners had been most thorough. There was nothing left to do but fire up the barbie and pour a glass of wine! Great job and will have the Spring Clean done every 3 months from now on.

I would NOT recommend this business. Had an end of lease clean done and a carpet clean and Urban You have spent the past few weeks dodging my claim for their 100% bond back guarantee after I received the adverse report from the estate agent for their poor cleaning.

Tried contacting them multiple times and they were unavailable then they blamed their servers for not sending an email. Just poor substandard service all around. BUYER BEWARE

I had the worst experience with them. After paying near $650 for a moving in clean, I was treated disrespectfully by the cleaning team, was charged for more hours than they spent in the place and was unhappy with the results. After calling on the same day and the next to complain about the unprofessional behaviour of the cleaner and bad job provided, I was asked to email photos of the issues which I did a couple of days later to which I had no response for 10 days. Finally heard back after chasing up twice just to be told that they needed to know earlier about the issues (I called on the day after) and had sent the email to the wrong email address - I replied to the quote email that apparently wasn't meant to be used and somehow it was my fault (this was after I was accused of looking up the consultant personal details????). I did not hear an apology about the behaviour of the cleaner at all and was told that everything was basically my fault. Worst service ever. [redacted gneeralisation]

Hooray for UrbanOutsource. I'd been planning on getting some garden maintenance work done for months and sought some quotes from another website. However, I was inundated with multiple quotes and simply did not have the time to follow up on any of them so 6 months passed. In contrast, it took minutes to get it organised through UrbanOutsource and the service (both from the UrbanOutsource team and the gardener) was professional, efficient and cost-effective. I will definitely be using your services again. Thank you!
