The staff went above and beyond to accomodate for a last minute party of 12 and the food was not only delicious but all the meals came out together. Thanks again Connor, Meg and all the other staff including the chef for making tonight a night to remember.

This is a bar and a restaurant outside the shopping centre.nit has a nice outdoor area as well as indoor restaurant. Very nice portion sizes and food always good.

The sovereign is a great pub with friendly staff and great food! Always a good time when I come :)

Just experienced st Patrick's day with the family and friends at the sov! They offered so much entertainment with dancers, a band, face paint and even fairy floss! Happy to say we will definitely be coming back next year! Service was amazing and the meals are definitely a steal for what you pay for

The sovereign has much to offer from a relaxing atmosphere to great service and delicious food. They have so many beverages to choose from you're spoilt for choice and you're always greeted by the staff with a welcoming smile. When I've dined at this sophisticated pub I enjoyed the lamb salad and would definitely recommend to others. Can get very busy so the noise and food wait is expected but really cannot fault this place.

The Sov has amazing food and a great atmosphere it's an awesome pub for all occasions. Service is always outstanding and I always enjoy going!

Cant really give the sov anthing else but 5 stars! The food was amazing (as well as large portions), the service was fast/positive and the girls helped me with all my fussy dietry requirements which is hard in some places! Even the kids meals were excellent for my little ones! Over all such a positive experience - definitely my new local!
p.s. Try the gorgonzola.....

Brought all my work colleagues here for our Christmas night out, deccies on the table, food was just lovely and service was great, stayed out all night and didnt break the bank. Everything is reasonably priced, went over to reserved tables in the bar after... Definitely be coming here next year too

Absolutely tons on it, not like these ones from perth were they charge you through the nose and you dont even get bread!!

We always come here for lunch, it gets quite busy but they always fine room for the grandson in his pram and a toddler. Nothings ever too much trouble. Me and the wife have a nice meal with some wine and the little one colours in, (they sell these colouring packs which are a life saver with little ones) and the baby usually stays asleep. Havent got a bad word to say about this place.. Super cheap too!

great for afternoon catch up with friends, soak up the sun outside in the beer garden while drinking some wine. We usually get the taster plate for 2 between the 4 of us because its so big. Close to home too so no expensive taxi ride home!

I went their tonight after some retail therapy, and i just id write a review. They were very busy, and the waitress told us on arrival that there was a wait on food of about 30 mins, but i didnt mind waiting as i wanted a few drinks anyway, but its nice to be told. Me and my friend shared a bottle of wine and when the food came out it was just gorgeous. I tried the galliano, wasnt quite sure what to expect, but oh my god it was gorgeous, My friend got the saltinboca which was equally as nice, presentation was lovely, not what i was expected from a pub and the portiona sizes are massive, Deffinately the best value if your around the Joondalup area. Ill deffinately be back thats for sure!! Thanks Sovereign :D

Came here with the Mrs yesterday an ordered the $18 parmi, absolutely lovely meal and a massive portion too. Sometimes i find with the deals in most venues the portion size suffers.. but not here! Service was great and the Mrs was drinking $9 cocktails all night so she was happy. Deffinately one to try if you havent been. Didnt order desserts as was too full, but i saw the dessert platter and it looked very tasty. On my list to try next time for sure

Came here to watch the footy with the boys and we all shared the taster plate for 4.. Bargain dish if you ask me, perfect with a beer! Place is kept nice and clean and all the waitresses are fit. Deffo be back for sure!

Having recently moved to the area from the UK, i was starting to believe that everywhere here in Oz was super expensive but then i visited The Sovereign on a Tuesday for dinner and OMG... $18 for sirloin steak with sauce salad, AND chips.. deffinaltely cannot complain, and the to top it off $7.50 for a pint of heiniken. Service was excellent and food was even better, and i even got to sing on Karaoke before heading home. Deffinatley my new local! :)

After seeing on Facbook that The Sov had launched a new menu, I was down there in an instant. We visit The Sov all the time and I just couldn't wait to see the new items.
We were not let down.
Thai fish cakes for entree were perfect. Plenty of flavour and well presented.
But the highlight (for me anyway) were the BBQ ribs!
Lovely bbq pork ribs covered in a delicious Sovereign sauce.
A hint of chilli just made this dish!
I didn't have room for dessert.
I was also happy to see Heineken on special for $7.50 a pint!
Great night again Sovereign. Well done

Went to the Sovereign Arms last night with the hubby. Its so nice to have a night out, keep the kids at home and let my hair down and the sov is just the place.
Food was perfect, the tasting plate for 2 is by far the best i have ever had!!!
Drinks are moderatly priced and atmosphere great.

Went here the other weekend for a friends birthday. Loved the food available from the restaurant part, then topped off by cheap drinks from the bar. the outdoor seating area is also really nice, especially on a nice, sunny day

Just had lunch at the Sovereign Arms, and as usual a fantastic meal and great service.
My ceaser salad was diving and my sisters lamb salad was beautiful.
We will be back again!!!

Great all round! The restaurant appeared busy for a Tuesday night and the service was fast and friendly. The food was great - highly recommend the Tuesday $18 steak Cooked to perfection! We will definitely go back, especially for a sing on the karaoke!!!.

My husband was kind enough to take me and my daughter and my mum out to lunch here on friday. The service was great and the food was prompt. The food was very nice, highly enjoyable. I will be coming back again and again and again

The reason the Sovereign Arms is the best and most successful bar and restaurant in Joondalup is simple great food and service. don't get to go out often but when i do its always the Sov.
We need more places like this in Joondalup

We have recently moved to the area and after being recommended by plenty of people, we went for dinner at the The Sovereign Arms on Friday night and we are so glad we did!
The service was great from the minute we walked in, all the staff had smiles on their faces and were very welcoming.
We were delighted to see how many options there were on the menu and even happier when I asked the Maitre De about gluten free meals. She informed me that they chefs will do whatever they can to accommodate me and make most meals gluten free! I almost fell off my chair. In most restaurants I have one or two options.
Both meals were amazing and I left feeling like a bit of a celebrity after being so well looked after! Thanks to all the staff and the chefs for everything, we will be back very soon bringing many friends with us
