I was very unhappy with this store and their deceptive sales techniques. These stores are run by a third-party “Vita Group” under licence from Telstra. The sales-person was efficient at signing me up for a new mobile plan, but mislead me about 2 hidden options I had not asked for. She told me that "included in the plan" was $120 worth of accessories - she did not tell me this was an EXTRA charge (the "Accessory Repayment Option" $10/month) - apparently a longstanding scam with this group
The other hidden extra was the $15/month "StayConnected" insurance option
READ YOUR CONTRACT CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING!
These extras are hard to see, hidden at the end of the contract. Luckily I was able to cancel the plan over the phone with telstra and order what I wanted, without hidden charges
