I booked a perm online a few days ago and was on my way in to the appointment today when they sent me a text to say they are all full today and can’t fit me in anymore??? They claimed to have called me to confirm the day before but I received no email/text/calls from them
. When I pointed this out I they then tried to call me incessantly (9 times) in the next half hour to argue that they did try to call? Well where is your call log? I have mine to prove your rude and inappropriate behavior. Never again.

Went to get a haircut yesterday at the Melbourne central salon.
I was 15 mins early to my appointment, yet I waited an additional 15 minutes until I decided to get up and ask the receptionist if there was much more of a wait. the receptionist was online shopping on her phone and ONLy after I asked she told my hairdresser I was ready who was also standing around on his phone. I asked for the $65 treatment which then I got told It won't be $65 for me because my hair is bra length and not shoulder length. so for me a hair cut and treatment would be $120. Which prior to this, three other people in the salon told me it would be much less. Fast forward, this male hairdresser starts cutting my hair, keep in mind I only asked for a trim. he starts thinning my hair on his own and says it is because my hair is thick and messy. Ofcourse my hair is thick with an indian background and I love having thick hair. I left the salon with half of my hair thickness and majority of my length off. The so called treatment that I payed extra money for? Well my hair is now shoulder length and extremely thin, so not sure how and why I had to pay the extra amount when the hair that has been treated is now all chopped off. would never ever go back again. Maybe it is because I am not asian. extremely rude, terrible service. and they also refused to give me my money back.

I went in to get a balyage with honey undertones and I was not disappointed. I was greeted with friendly faces and offered coffee or tea on arrival. I was then asked what I wanted, and was given exceptional advice. When I saw the result it was more than what I wanted. I was in awe. It is a testament to their talent and ability. Moreover, the pricing was reasonable and I will definitely go back. Thank you sui salon!

I had my hair cut here once in February 2013; didn't request for a particular hairstylist, and I believe the guy to whom I was allocated was named Kai. Very happy with my cut - I had requested that he thinned my hair out (i have thick, and a lot of hair) but noticing I was heavily pregnant at the time, he advised against that, as some people tend to lose hair after birth. It didn't happen to me (still a thick head of hair), but I appreciated that he was able to give his advice instead of just doing whatever I asked. I would definitely be back.
Oh! Also, they give out a loyalty card, and I think after a few hair services you would be eligible for some sort of discount. not a bad deal.

i went there because my friend recommended me, and boy i must say u have no regret :), the may not speak good english but they can pick a hairstyle that suits my face, also the good hair color that match my skin tone :). After my first experience i keep coming back to this salon, and bring with me my boyfriend, my little brother and my other friend who have now become SUI's regular as well :))

btw, This salon is famous among Asian, i am also Asian, so i am not sure whether Caucasian would love to have Korean hairstyle or not :)

I've been here several times whenever I feel I really need to fix up my hair, I generally trim my own hair at home but it eventually overwhelms me.

Some days, it might be best to try to book beforehand as you don't know how busy they may be. There is an area with magazines to read if you choose to wait. The staff are very friendly and well organised.

The haircut itself began with a shampoo and relaxing head massage, then onto the cutting. I usually have no serious idea of what I want but their hairstyle magazines do help choosing the cut you want. The hairdressers are very professional and skilled, although I find I prefer men cutting men's hair.

The prices are rather reasonable considering its located in the city. Definitely, worth trying if your looking for an Asian hair stylists/cut.
