We have been coming here for years. It hasn't changed much but you do get great value for your buck and it is consistent. It is a good old fashioned cake shop without the frills.
I purchased a small jaffa cake to serve for afternoon tea when i had family coming over. It was great to know i didn't have to order the cake in advance and could just pick it up on the day i needed it. The cake was very moist and tasty and i have had the same cake in the past at a friend's place and it tasted exactly the same.
I agree with barbaram3 that the range of cakes for sale could be extended.

Simon's Cakes are reasonably priced and are generally good value. However, I think he should widen his range as currently what he is offering is a bit limited.
