Ricky and his team have been taking care of my Hyundai, since, stuck and needing assistance, he came to my aid. (I was back living in Ringwood area after 16 yrs in country areas)
He is thorough, knowledgeable and caring -
and goes that extra mile. As a single mature woman wh has had surgeries etc in the past 2 yrs, I have so appreciated knowing I can rely on Ricky to take excellent care of my car.

Not having a mechanic after mine retired, I found Ringwood Auto Care / Ricky on Work of Mouth. I needed the alternator on my car replaced after breaking down roadside. Ricky was very accommodating it letting me have the car towed to his factory and left there until it was repaired. Ricky told me he could repair the car the next day, and the car was up an running by the end of the day as promised, even though there is a lot of work involved in getting too the alternator in this car. Ricky's quote seemed very reasonable for the work involved and he communicated very well with me about what was happening and when the car would be ready etc. All up a very good experience and I would definitely use Ringwood Auto Care again. Great experience with this garage. Ricky knows his stuff, is organised, on time and is so friendly. He was capable of explaining what he's doing, what the car needs (or can be done next time) while staying within the budget. Honest advice while keeping all the promises of calling me back and having the car ready in time, awesome! My car (Mazda) drives so smoothly :)

Went in because the dreaded check engine light came on. Ricky not only diagnosed it straight away for me but also gave me a fabulous quick lesson in mechanics and explained exactly what the problem was - which I fully understood, impressive since I know nothing of cars really. He also did not push for a quick sell and said the issue was minor and could wait for my next service. I believe that showed integrity and honesty. We have all our cars serviced there and am so glad that Ricky has taken on the values, service and pride that Thomas built the business on.

Over the moon with the service, price, and workmanship of Ringwood Auto Care.
In the past 6months we'd taken my husbands work vehicle to 2 other mechanics who both looked at it never got back to us with quotes. Then the final place wanted to charge us over $3000, and that didn't include touching the major issues! Desperate, we took it to Ricky and crew at Ringwood Auto Care who told us straight away was wrong, what needing doing, and what could wait. Within 24hrs (and only $1200) they had my husbands car running perfectly after 5 years without a service and after so many run arounds.
We cannot fault the guys at Ringwood Auto Care, and highly recommend them to anyone needing an honest and professional mechanic, who explains everything clearly and puts their customers first. We'll be back with all our cars in the future. Thank guys!

I had an excellent experience with Ringwood Auto Care. I usually work on my car myself, but for this job being too big for me, I was looking for two things: 1. An honest and trustworthy mechanic whom I could build a working relationship for future jobs on the car; 2. Someone who would perform the job to the level I would expect. The mechanics at Ringwood Auto Care met my expectations and exceeded them, I was treated with respect, got regular updates on how the job was going and the end product was a fantastic result. I took my car their for servicing and car running rough from long time. they fixed the problem and its running much better now almost as i bought now car.
