A friend recommended I try this salon as she is very happy with her short haircuts. The woman who cut my hair did a poor job and left me with a ridge around the back of my head about a third of the way down my shoulder length hair. She was clearly in a hurry as I'd asked for a blowdry but she didn't have time. It's a drab no frills salon, no tea or coffee offered. Charged far too much for the hasty poor cut and indifferent service. Not recommended.
I have purchased a few hair products here and appreciated the honest advice I was given when I enquired about products suitable for my fine, limp hair. I also prefer shampoos and conditioners that are sulfate and paraben free and they had a range of hair care products that matched this.
Experienced staff in most salons can give informed advice about hair products and PA has a very good range of cruelty free & paraben/sulphate free products. But their cutting is below par.
Overall a pretty good experience! i was very happy with the outcome of my hair. A little bit pricey, but the staff were nice and my overall experience was good!
I started going here after buying one of those online 'deals' and have kept going back for many months now. Karissa is lovely and does a good job. She has made a point of noting that i will only buy vegan/animal-friendly hair products and points out any new ones she thinks I may like! Great little place.
