It's taken me a long time to write this because I have to let people know how wonderful and amazing the clinic is! I am a long term client and I didn't think they could get any better, but they did! 9 weeks ago I found (via the advice of Katie at the clinic to call the council)...my beautiful and much loved cat Violet badly injured. After jumping a fence to get to her with the help of my wonderful neighbor, I found myself locked in a nearby backyard with my vet sick cat. Fortunately I had my neighbor helping me, but he was on the other side of the fence. A phone call to the clinic to explain the situation to the wonderful and quick thinking vet nurse Stacey, and Dr. Matt came to where I was and I was able to hand Violet over the fence. He drove her back to the clinic . I arrived 8 minutes later, Violet was already on a drip, wrapt in blankets and I knew she was safe and was in the best hands possible with every chance of survival. It is a privilege to go to this clinic. The AMAZING care that was given by all the staff that day, and the days and weeks to follow. Dr. Craig Goode who operated on Violet that day, saved her life. I can never speak highly enough of Craig. He is a wonderful vet, passionate about animals and really cares, he is not your regular vet. He is truly dedicated and goes above and beyond every time. He is always available to take calls from stressed and upset pet owners, including after hours, and manages to keep the situation calm. Matt was AMAZING, and I will never be able to thank him enough. He kept a bad situation calm, and who else gets in their car and comes to where the injured animal is and drives it back to the clinic? He is also an incredible vet who I trust 100%. We are now 9 weeks on. Her recovery has been a process and I have no doubt if I wasn't lucky enough to have the wonderful doctors and nurses at the clinic, we wouldn't have got this far. The nursing staff that day were incredible too, the beautiful and amazing Stacey who responded so quickly to the hysterical phone call and organized matt to come and rescue Violet. Stacey is incredible, kind and caring, always with a smile on her face. Thank you Stace! Brittany was on duty on Violet's first weekend at the clinic, it was a difficult time and touch and go. When I arrived the morning after at the clinic at 9:00am, Brittany's first comment was that she had woken at 6:00am thinking she had to hurry and get to work to see how Violet was. Brittany managed a highly emotional weekend in such a kind and gentle way. We have the other nurses too, Hannah who has an incredible calm about her, and knows how to manage all types of situations, and also had a huge hand in Violet's recovery. Bruna was there for us, hand feeding Violet, making her comfortable and keeping me reassured too. Katie, thank you! Violet wouldn't be alive today if you hadn't told me to call the Council, because I wouldn't have found her. You are wonderful. Nothing is a problem for anyone in the clinic, no matter how many questions you ask or how many times you call. One more part of my happy ending is Violet has a half brother, Rupert, and the two are inseparable. I asked Craig if I could bring Rupert to stay at the clinic with Violet because he was so distressed without her and not knowing where she was. There was no hesitation from Dr. Craig and Rupert stayed for the 5 days with Violet in the clinic...this definitely helped her recovery. Seriously, who does all this? This clinic is no regular clinic, this is the closest thing you get to perfection. I have recommended so many people to the clinic, and they too think they had a good vet until they came here. Some of the recommendations live on the other side of town, and they travel to come to the clinic. There are so many other stories I could share with you, and everyone in the area thinks so highly of everyone at the clinic. I take my dogs for a walk and run into people and the conversation always turns to "what vet to you go to"? The answer is always the same.....Dr. Craig Goode and all his wonderful staff. The clinic closes at 7:00pm each night, well that doesn't happen very often, if at all, they are always taking a late call/seeing a sick pet, again nothing is a problem and they are always there to help. They are also open on the weekends for a period of time. You feel safe when you are at the clinic, because they are the BEST!!! I am eternally grateful and I will never be able to thank everyone at the clinic enough. If you love your pet this is the clinic for them....it is an absolutely pleasure and privilege to have these wonderful doctors and nurses looking after your pet/s. Thank you to you all!
