Never utilise him again. He was paid for supplies never happened and now apparently a heart attack but his tools left

He was too weeks late starting fo job not finished before holiday and left him keys and did not finish.

The tradesman did not complete the job he was paid for on my house. He was tasked with plastering and setting the whole interior, attaching cornicing, skirting, architraves, replacing the window sills,villa boarding, waterproofing and tiling the bathroom and making a built in cupboard.
Works were going well (or so we thought) until he was approached and told he will need to fix the tiling in the bathroom as it was not how we requested and it was laid incorrectly as told by the LICENCED tiler that did our kitchen. He all of a sudden became 'sick', took his tools (which he left there everyday for the 4 weeks he was working prior) and said he will call when he can come back. That was 8 weeks ago. He has since not replied to our phone calls, text messages, facebook messages or other kinds of communications since.
The tradesman also did not replace all the window sills, he installed the built in cupboard without putting cross beams in the wall he built for railings or any fixtures. The skirting was half completed, He cut and ripped out our lines from the floor such as, telephone, internet, antennae and foxtel lines.
There is more I can say about him but please, check the QBCC website for yourself and report him to the QBCC if he has quoted you. We are not the first and I'm sure not the last to be ripped off.
Unfortunately the day before he took off we had paid him $1000 draw down payment. We never saw that money or materials again.
Upon research into the tradesman's credentials via local trade businesses and the Queensland Building and Construction Commission website (QBCC.qld.gov.au) we found out that the tradesman does not have any licences to trade or operate as a plasterer not less anything else he said he could do. On the QBCC report on this person it says, "NOT CURRENTLY LICENSED
Do NOT contract with this individual - all classes are cancelled.
Please contact QBCC on 139 333 if this person offers to perform building work.
This is all surprising because he was polite and courteous to start of with.

I emailed Perry with tasks required and asked if he could do these. I received a response within a very short time. Quotes were supplied upon visitation and the work was performed at the required date. I was impressed with the quick turnaround with communication and was kept up to date at every stage. The work performed (plastering, repairs, and painting) were of a high standard.

We had 2 ceilings with architraves and one wall replaced with plasterboard. Perry's workmanship was excellent. He was on time, well priced, friendly and professional. He took pride in his work and gave excellent advice. We'll be trying his handyman skills soon. Highly recommended.

Completed plasterboard in extension. Work was completed quickly and to a high standard. Was very helpful and flexible with options and arrangements. Was very happy with price, speed and quality for overall job.

Replaced/repaired damaged plasterboard and masonite, architraves and skirting and prepped all walls for painting. Very helpful and polite, even fixed up other areas that I had failed to notice needed repair. Also completely cleaned up after the job was done. Highly recommend!

Perry Came Ontime and fixed some holes in the walls, he also fixed a door and a few other bits and pieces. he did a very good job and we would get him back again. So if your looking for a good handymam, contact him.

I have had perry come and do to different jobs at my house. A laundry and a kitchen ceiling. Both times perry was very professional. He was on time and on budget. His work is of a high standard. I will certainly use him again.

Fixed my disaster I had created from self renovating, I have also used Perry for repairs to a water damaged Roof after a Storm it involved removing and section and placing a 2m patch onto it. Very happy with the finish.
