I purchased a coupon for the service and was very happy with the lass who came to me she was on time for the appointment very pleasant and gave a great massage.I have continued with her on a private basis. It would seem I was one of the lucky ones who bought the coupons. I can fully understand the frustration of those who have bought the coupons for the service and not been able to make contact ,it is not only the people who have bought the coupons who have been let down the therapists who have worked for the company have been also... they are out of pocket hundreds of dollars travelling to appointments and doing the massages and have not been paid for them and have made numerous attempts to contact her for the money owed to them to no avail... she has exploited them for her own gain she is giving the industry a very bad name and should be made accountable. I have given my score for the service I received not the business I think the sites that advertise these deals should investigate the companies making the offers to ensure they are honest and provide the service they offer.

This is by far the WORST service I have EVER experience!

I bought a voucher in February for my fiancé as a romantic birthday present in April this year. We have had 3 appointments where no-one showed up and another 3 dates that I was led to believe we were booked in only to be texted with a short curt little message saying we needed to change our booking a few days before. Then there were all the days I requested as per her instructions to never have a response to at all! There have been over 50 phone calls/emails/text messages to date. And that's not including the emails to Deals.com who have been very sympathetic but unfortunately will only give me a credit voucher and not a full refund.

On The Go have never had the decency to call to apologise for the no-shows and VERY VERY rarely return my text messages or emails. [You can't call and leave a message as they have one of those "phone number will be forwarded" messages as a previous person has already stated]. Each time, I had to re-arrange our day, organise our little toddlers schedule to accommodate the time that suited the masseuse.

When I asked [via text message after NUMEROUS back and forth text messages one day] that she be so kind to actually call me or let me know a good time for me to call her so that we could actually talk in person rather than the ridiculous amount of confusing back and forth texting, she stopped responding to my text messages all together, then when I persisted and said I was getting frustrated with the standard of service, she accused me of being rude! In whose book is requesting to talk to someone in person rude? I thought that was called ‘customer service'.

And to top it off, she effectively told me that because we only paid a discount amount, we shouldn't expect to be served properly!

If anyone so much as mentions this company to me asking for a referral, I will tell them with passion to “run the other way, don't waste your time/energy/sanity/money” on this appalling company.

I have successfully managed extremely busy, small companies [prior to taking time off to spend time with my daughter] and I know things can be difficult and stressful at times. But this is lesson 1.01 in how NOT to run a business.

I hope if you are reading this review that you have not yet purchased a massage from On The Go Massage and that I have saved you from the pain and frustration that we went through. Please take heed of this review the others before me and support another massage company and enjoy your day, knowing you won't have to go through this awful customer experience.

P.S. I have given them to this Friday to respond to my email. I have told them if they do not, they leave me no choice but to report them to Consumer Affairs.

P.P.S I also found it odd that they stopped using the mobile number on the website sometime ago and have been texting another mobile number for the last month. They also use three email addresses, the one on the website however bounced today! I also noted that according to their website, they are still using ‘Unbooked” to make their online bookings, even though their excuse for the first no-show was that ‘Unbooked' weren't sending them their bookings and so they didn't know I had booked! You would think if that was the case, they would have had time to change system since April.

WE AT ON THE GO HAVE ADRESSED THESE ISSUES WE APPRESIATE YOUR SERVICE AND CUSTOMER COMMENT WE ARE SORRU FOR YOUR BAD EXPERIENCE ,

Purchased a voucher from a deal website for my mum's birthday. Basically the short of it is they didn't show up for the appointment. My mum and her friend were extremely disappointed and I was furious. To make it WORSE they have not returned my calls or emails since.

My recent experience... I followed the instructions and booked via the link provided. I chose a time and place. It came up with a little note that said "Your message has been sent!" But I didn't hear anything back. I gave it a few days, and still no email or call to confirm.. So I called the mobile number given. A lot! It kept ringing out or going to a non-voice message, just one of those that says they can send your number to the person as a text. I sent text messages, explaining how I was coming down from Sydney to Melbourne and organising the massage for 2 as a special present for my friend who had been going through a hard time, and could they please call me to confirm they got my email/web booking. No response to a couple more texts or calls. Finally, late one afternoon I got a very dismissive woman on the phone. I explained to her what had been happening and was told she'd call me back in an hour when she got back to the office. No call. A couple of days or further trying to contact her again, calling, texting, etc I finally got her again. She showed no recollection of speaking to me and when I asked her about the texts I had sent she simply said, with no real concern, that she didn't get any of them, and said my booking via the website was fine and that they would be here. I was still dubious over whether she was actually taking any of it in properly and asked if I could have a confirmation by text please. I re-sent my text with the time, date, details, etc and she texted back "got it". PHEW or so I thought... I organised a babysitter, booked a flight to come down to Melbourne, and was looking very forward to spoiling my best friend, and having a girlie night in with our massage treat. Nearing 8pm, I texted the woman and gave her parking instructions. At about 8.10/8.15pm I tried to call her as nobody had shown up. We thought maybe they were lost or in traffic, but no call... By 8.30pm I was getting a sinking feeling I'd been duped. All this money I spent on coming down to Melbourne for this to happen, not to mention the embarrassment in front of of my friend. I tried calling - no answer, just kept ringing out. Then we thought maybe they got the times confused and thought it was 9pm. At 9.40pm, after countless calls and texts, I realised it wasn't happening. It completely ruined the night. If she couldn't make it, a simple phone call would've been fine and my friend and I could've made other plans and not sat around waiting. $0 value for money as I got absolutely zero for it!! And still now.... no phone call or response after my messages of complaint...

Approximate cost: $60

After having to re-book my massage THREE times due to my assigned therapist not appearing, I was greeted by a non-qualified therapist on the third occasion who had no idea of correct massage techniques and arrived half an hour late for my appointment. I requested a deep tissue massage and it felt more like a relaxation massage with very little or no pressure applied by the therapist. This is by far the WORST massage service I have ever come across.

Approximate cost: $29.00
