Andrew and the OSR team were excellent. The quote for my situation was great value as it included an interstate move to their depot, a free months storage and a very competitive weekly storage price for the additional weeks I needed and then they only needed short notice for my delivery date at my new address. All of our items arrived undamaged and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Our move from Melbourne to Port Douglas proved to be the most stressful and worst experience that we could ever imagine!
Initially, they were quick to give us a quote, and we organised a removal date. The boys that were employed to remove our goods, were quick and efficient. Our goods were organised to be in Port Douglas approximately 2 months after this.
I had tried to contact them a few days prior to our proposed delivery to find out an ETA with no response. The day before our goods were supposed to arrive in Port Douglas we got a text saying ‘our goods had been involved in an accident in Wagga Wagga NSW 3 days prior, and our stuff was OK, but they would be passing our load onto Caloundra Removals, which would take a further 7-10 days and to contact Old School Removals the next day’, and they would confirm the ETA.
That day and all through the following month we made countless texts, calls, left voice messages and emails pleading for information, with NO response from Old School Removals.
After 1 month of NO response, and terrible stress, as to the fact they had $2,500 of our money (payment in full), and all our possessions from Melbourne, miraculously we got a response after 10 minutes after informing them by email that consumer affairs were now involved and that they were in breach of contract.
The only positive experience of our move was dealing with ‘Caloundra Removals and Storage’, they have branches in Sydney, Melbourne, Townsville and the Sunshine Coast. By chance we managed to get hold of them, they found out that our goods were still in Melbourne, and confirmed that they had been asked to move them to Port Douglas. They were extremely helpful, professional and kept us up to date with when our goods would be delivered.
We have since found out that Old School Removals are not a member of AFRA (Australian Furniture Removers Association). Caloundra removals are a member and are a professional organisation. We would not wish on anyone the poor experience, stress and anxiety that we suffered by choosing Old School Removals, Altona, Victoria.

We used this company to relocate to QLD from Victoria. From the first contact with Andrew he was fantastic. He came and personally quoted the job. Everything he said they would do they did. It was our first time moving interstate and thanks to Old School it was painless. No damage what so ever and I would happily recommend them to family and friends.. Ok, here's how it is, if you want something transported properly use Old School Removals only, my antique sideboard arrived in the exact same perfect condition as it was when picked up from original owner, i was impressed with how they had it stored in their truck for its long journey and i could not believe how quickly these guys get things done compared to others for the same journey, these guys, Andrew and his sidekick make other movers seem hopeless because they not only delivered the item in perfect condition but were, quiet, well spoken polite gentlemen and were so easy to deal with, it was one hassle free experience with these guys and would recommend them to anyone over any other removals company and this is coming from one very OCD fusspot who doesn't usually leave reviews but these guys deserve all the praise they receive... THERE IS NO WAY ANYONE COULD BE BETTER THEN ANDREW AND HIS TEAM, NO ONE WOULD EVEN COME CLOSE...Thanks again...Kind regards Jason...

The people at Old School Removals were awesome from start to finish. Could not fault anything about the way they went about their business. Professional, friendly, great communication and a fair and reasonable quote for what they did. What not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone who''s moving house.

It started well however arrival was 3 hours late in Brisbane with no communication, one man only, waited for another for 2 hours, the car delivery was also 3 days late no communication and there is $900 worth of damage! Emails and texts are ignored, This was for a pensioner client. Photos of car taken before and after. Such a shame they [redacted personal identifier] are ignoring this damage.

Would recommend them to my friends. Arrived and delivered our furniture at the time stated. Friendly, great teamwork and reliable. Thank you Andrew and the team for a stress free move.

Andrew and his team were tremendously professional, and easy to deal with. Everything took place as planned, with the exception of one instance of unforeseen circumstances; however, Andrew was quick to let me know the change in plan, and very accommodating to my schedule. My goods were loaded and delivered with no issues, and very well taken care of - which is the main concern of anyone moving, particularly interstate. For anyone who needs to move, I'd definitely recommend Old School; they're fantastic!

They are extremely helpful on International Removal. They did pretty good job and save me from lots of drama.

They helped me get the container from the depot and brought to my place and removed all the packages which is brilliant.

Outstanding in every way. Very very sharp pricing, friendly staff, all items delivered intact, plenty wrapping - almost too much! We had a long list of special demands, nothing too much hassle, and they worked their backsides off to get us in and how and when we wanted it. Front office unreal too, they let us hold onto the garment hanging boxes until we were ready to do the full unpack. 100% recommend and would use again. (Mum recommended them to us!)

Old school removals moved our very large house contents for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They provided quotes late at night, provided excellent communication and all the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. They also provided a packing and unpacking service which saved us hours of time. I would highly recommend them.

The team was very polite and helpful.
However I did have broken glasses , scratches on leather dining room chair and scratch on caphorwood box. This is my 4th move in the last few years and I have not experienced as much damage in a single move. Very punctual and such nice people.

When the 2 boys started to run behind they called in a team of lads and the job was complete in 10 minutes flat!
