QuLity and value ( and range) are essential but service ar Officeworks Highett far outperforms other nearby large retailers located between Brighton and Southland.

Most staff are extremely curious and helpful in this store. Can't say the same for most other officework stores. Great example of how it should be!
I went to office works to get some printing done and usually they are very good and fast.
This time not so much, I understand they were very busy they had a sign up to say they couldn't have any jobs done on the spot, which was fine because i didn't need my work until the following week. Well when i picked up my printing job and got home half of it was missing!
So I went back and explained to the girl that half was missing and I needed it ASAP she was very kind and said she would get it done right away. I was very grateful and explained very clearly what I wanted, I even wrote it down. I picked it up 20minutes later, got back home and she completely stuffed it up.
It was all wrong but as I needed it straight away I couldn't take it back to be fixed!
I am a pretty patient and understanding person but for a business that specialises in printing I wasn't very happy and I won't be going back to Officeworks for any of my printing needs again

i needed to buy a desk and printer so knowing how good officeworks are for quality they were the first place i went. the service was horrendous. i was standing at the desks for about 15mins and know one came over to help despite the store being quiet. i then went over to the printers and was looking at them for a further 15mins without service i even had 2 salesmen look at me and turn back around to keep talking to each other. i then went to the fankston store and was served immediately. never going back to highett
The assistance are very helpful and the shop has a good atmosphere. Some items are very well priced, but some are way over priced.
Officeworks located on Nepean Highway in Highett is brilliant, they have absolutely anything you could ever need whether it is a business or personal shop. Staff are friendly and the prices low
The staff in this Officeworks are the worst. I went to the store to get an iPod. After standing around next to the iPods for 10 minutes, I finally got the attention of a staff member. He promptly told me 'nah, we don't have any iPods in stock' and walked away!. The store wasn't even busy! Never going back.
Have been there several time to buy a laptop, office chairs, a printer etc. They have a great section of things that are reduced that I usually peruse through. I did buy a dlink wireless modem which did not work and they gave me a refund after I informed them that it did not work.
Currently being upgraded it's a bit hard to find things, but they have a great range of almost everything you need for your desk and office. I buy blank DVD's and Cd's here as well as so much random stationary it's not funny. They're open late weeknights so sometimes I pop in to buy something and end up spending a little too long wondering the isle looking at things. I've never brought anything huge (ie computer) from here, but the staff I've spoken to are helpful and seem to know what they're talking about. A little pricey (Kmart etc are cheaper for the everyday items) the range is much better and worth the small difference in price.
