Simply just superb experience it was to see Dr Shilpa Kalburgi at Northside Family Dental for my whole family. My kids had the best experience of being at the Dentist and they dont have the Dentist phobia anymore!

Many people – especially children – worry about a trip to the dentist. I was a bit like that until I started going to Dr Shilpa Kalburgi about 16 years ago. Shilpa makes the visit a very pleasant experience, even if you are having major work. I have first hand experience of this. She is calm and has a kind nature, and explains very clearly exactly what needs to be done and the options available. In the time that I’ve been visiting Shilpa, I have had 2 children (as has Shilpa!), both of whom are now patients of Shilpa. Even though I live much further away now, I am happy to travel back to Canberra to see Shilpa. Neither of my children mind going to the dentist because they know they’re going to see Shilpa. Not only a lovely person, but a very experienced professional who looks after all of her patients with the utmost care so I can’t recommend Northside Family Dental enough. I’ll say it again, Dr Shilpa Kalburgi makes a dental appointment a pleasant experience. Seriously!

Dr Somal was fantastic, made me feel comfortable and let me know what was happening every step of the way. Couldn't believe I didn't feel a thing...even the needle! Best dentist experience ever.

I am really happy with my choice as this was my first dentist visit here and got my dental work done on the weekend, this place did not charge me extra price being a Saturday like other dental practices do. Reasonable rates, it was really worth the money spent!

The most accomodating Dentists in the whole of Canberra I must say, my daughter was in so much of dental trauma on a Saturday and this dental clinic was the only Dentist that would offer us an emergency dental appointment. However we had to wait for an hour though, totally understandable with a waiting room full of patients and the lady Dentist Dr Sonal was so very kind, calm and well composed to deal with as my daughter was so anxious & stressed out due to her severe toothache. Dr Sonal treated her with the utmost gentle care we have ever seen.

We are switching over the whole family to Northside Family Dental having seen the best quality of dental care received here in our entire lifetime of having lived in Canberra southside and now moved to our new home in Gungahlin.

Definitely 5 stars for the best Gungahlin and Canberra emergency dentist experience. The fear of visiting a Dentist has totally vanished for my daughter after being here which is very very comforting for us as parents.

I always dreaded going to the dentist but after one visit to Dr Kalburgi, I actually feel less anxious about my dental visits. Her clinic is surprisingly comfortable and warm. The doctor herself was very patient and professional - she doesn't judge you or rip you off. She's simply the best!

Dr Kalburgi is a gentle, kind, thoughtful and understanding dentist who doesn't patronise or make you feel guilty about not taking better care of your teeth in the past. My whole family is now going to her and I recommend Dr Kalburgi to anyone who is tired of being ripped off and humiliated after a trip to the Dentist!

Had a great experience with Dr Kalburgi and her dental assistant Shaleen. I am not one to enjoy a dentist visit but they made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Both were very friendly and made me forget I was getting my teeth drilled. I was happy with the pricing and they made sure I went home with a dental plan after my first visit so I knew what I still needed to get done and the approximate cost. Definitely my best dental experience yet!

Very efficient and has a good atmosphere makes you feel comfortable. Especially considering dentists aren't places people are always willing to go too was nice to have someone who did not try to push you into anything but rather let you decide what you thought was best.

Went to Northside Family Dental expecting to wait for weeks before getting a replacement for front tooth Dr Shilpa was great. She does not try to talk you into anything and does not judge. I walked out of there with a new tooth in place and very happy with it and would recommend her to anyone looking for dental work.

This was the best dental practice I have ever been treated in. During my dental visit I felt safe, comfortable and at ease. The dentist and staff were friendly, professional and caring.

Dr Kalburgi is friendly and had my children at ease during their recent visits. She explained the situation with their teeth and gave them good advice about dental hygiene.

Dr Shilpa is very friendly and makes you feel very welcomed. She is gental and understanding. I normally don't like going to the dentist but at Northside Family Dental you are looked after and you feel very comfortable. I visited Dr. Kalburgi's clinic to get my root canal therapy done last month. I was in enormous pain before and had visited various dentists in Melbourne and Sydney. As I was based in Canberra, I went to her clinic and within a span of 20 days was pain free and able to eat whatever I wanted. I was treated in the most kind and caring manner by Dr. Kalburgi and her staff at the clinic. I was impressed by Dr. Kalburgi's professional manners coupled with care for her clients. I wish Dr. Kalburgi and the staff at NorthSide Family Dental the very best in their professional endeavors.
