The lady from shoes department was so helpful in terms of helping me finding the right pair. I was actually surprised by such good service as usually they are understaffed and no one is around to help.

If you love shopping and just land at Myers, coz its an amazing shopping experience over few levels and across the streets. Ofcourse not the cheapest place on earth, but is great quality and one can find something for all budgets.

I love shopping in Melbourne and particularly enjoy the Myer centre in the city- it is really great for fashion. The mens section was so large that my boyfriend almost spent the whole day there. The staff were more friendly in certain areas- the girl in charge of Dangerfield was lovely and helpful, but the girl in Ed Hardy was rude. Great myer centre though!

They have renovated the woman's lingerie departments and I got confuse many times. The new layout is not as friendly as previous layout. There are ramps and small stairs and the walls are plain.

I loved the basement, great clothes for young people. The staff were cool, and helpful. The place is so big and it was hard to find somethings...like beanies!! The store was clean and the displays lokked great.

While passing through Myer on level 2 womens wear, I asked a sales assistant for directions (I interupted her mothers meeting and gossip session with her 4 minions) to be told in a very unpleasent tone the directions!! My response.....my apoligies for interupting ladies!!

I disagree about the lack of customer service.

Yes, sometimes you are left waiting at a counter, but you just walk to the next one. If you ask someone where something is they'll point it out & if they don't know, just walk over to an information wall and it tells you everything.

You can't expect the staff to know everything about the store, but you have to hand it too them that they do a great job.

I buy lots from Myer, and I suggest if you do the same to get a MyerOne card. Although is One point per Dollar, you get a free $20.00 giftcard at 2000 points. Yes, I know you have to Spend $2000 with them, but buy a computer and your halfway there. Think about it, its something for nothing.

Myer is mystore (lol yes, from the corny tv add)

p.s. it was unfortunate about your gift cards Fiona, lol.. Who would have thought a company turning down that much money. Tisk Tisk

SOmetimes lacking in service salespeople- difficulty finding staff when help required. Great range of products at reasonable prices with regular sales. Limited number of changing/fitting rooms makes some periods a lengthy wait.
