Move Out Mates

One bedroom unit cleaned in Lane Cove, very happy with the cleaning service. I didn't like how my Monday booking was cancelled on a Friday when I had to hand keys back on the Tuesday. Moving house is a pain and everything is planned out so when the cleaners cancel you midday on a Friday for Monday there was some panic. They were able to offer the clean on the Sunday so we moved our plans to accommodate. Very satisfied with the two men who did the clean and the end product.

I hired Move Out Mates to do a move out cleaning at the end of Nov for my 2 bedroom apartment. Two weird middle eastern men showed up and did no deep cleaning. They wouldn't even take out garbage. The carpet cleaning they offered was not even close to carpet cleaning. The stain removal service where they "test" it just means they will run their cleaner over it twice but they failed to get out two stains on the carpet. The bathroom, I think he just stayed in there and sprayed it down so it looked clean and wet when I entered. He didn't scrub the grout at all and left soap scum on the soap dispenser. Was really dissastified with this service. Move out cleaners in the past deep clean everything and throw out trash. The guy even tossed the pantry liners on the floor and then told me that he wouldn't pick it up or take it to the garbage. I paid close to $400 for this poor cleaning service and would have been better to just find a cleaner off Gumtree. Do not use this service!!!

Don't waste your money. After chanmging the time 4 times on the day ofmy EOL clean I had to clean what they didn't the next morning. They refused even a partial refund saying that by me cleaning it breeched thier guarantee. I couldn’t get it through to them that the house had to be handed back at 10am. Took them 2 days to get back to clean the light fittings holding up the return of my bond. To this day I am yet to see areceipt or guarantee they mention despite it being supposedly emailed 3 times.

Booked this company for an end of lease clean, only to receive a call THE DAY BEFORE to say they couldn't do it. Less than an hour before close of business so had to frantically ring half of Sydney to find someone else to do it, at half the price I was quoted. All I got for an explanation was 'oh sorry, we can no longer do this job.' Move out mates you are an utter joke and I will denounce your unprofessional practices far and wide. Thanks for nothing.

was quoted $259 where they put that amount onhold on my bank on the day they told me the laundry wasnt included in the quoted price and wanted another $90 which i declined, and after they cleaned took a payment of $241 ontop of the $259 on hold; $259 is still on hold in my bank days after the cleaning,i have called the company where they were rude to me when i tryed to explain to them whats happened only to be told that it looks fine on there end, they wont reply to emails asking them to release my money. so i had no money for the weekend and still dont have the $259 that they are holding. i will not recomend to any of my friends or family. the cleaning was the same quality as what i could of done, was expecting alot better.

While I had a poor first up experience from Move Out Mates, they have since gotten in contact and rectified the situation to a very satisfactory degree. Would certainly be willing to give them a go again.

We used Move out Mates for two services - an exit clean of our apartment, and an entrance clean for a house. The apartment exit clean was good, would happily use those cleaners again. Unfortunately the entrance clean of the house was not as good - the house was left dirtier than when the team of 3 cleaners arrived. They mopped all the floors at the conclusion of the clean and used dirty water, or a dirty mop - either way, the floors were pretty badly covered in grime and muk from the mopping. When I returned to the property at the end of the clean, one of the cleaners saw the mess and instructed the other cleaner to go back and pick pieces up by hand near where we were standing and in our field of vision, but this was only a small area in the kitchen at the back of the house. I only saw how dirty everything was after re-entering the house when the floors were dry. Unfortunately I'd already paid. This was disappointing, but the team at Move out Mates contacted me based on feedback I provided and they were very helpful. Their customer service helped to turn what could have been a negative experience, into a positive one. I'd use them again.

This is the first cleaning service I employed. It was reliable and professional at a decent price!
They also have services 24/7 which comes really handy when you only have limited time to monitor the cleaning on the weekdays.
