Customer Service is lacking. Their awards are for Sales and Marketing - of their business, not for customer service. High fee structures and consistently making errors for which they were notified about on more than one occasion. Not responding to website issues to do with login access for documents quickly enough before AGM meeting. Misinformation provided about excess for insurance claims. Not apologising for errors of their making which were upsetting. Overcharging fees for projects they did little on.

We recently had MBCM Essendon assist us with an issue at our property. Mardi and her team were outstanding with their knowledge and assistance in getting the issue rectified. We were extremely satisfied with their prompt action to rectify the issue. Service like this is hard to find. Thanks very much Mardi. MBCM were instrumental in assiting the owners with the removal of a previous body corporate business who were poor performers in every respect. Craig is extremely knowledgeable and highly proficient with what he does. He assigned Tracy Berry to our property. I approached MBCM Essendon in November 2016 to quote for the ongoing management of a 2 year old complex of 38 apartments in Moonee Ponds. We heard a couple of pitches from other managers and Craig before the committee decided to sign with MBCM Essendon. Since that time our Owners Corporation management has been throughly looked at, outgoings scrutinised, new contracts entered in to with service providers, money saved, insurance updated and proactive testing for defective cladding (it's not defective!). Regular meetings and correspondence is a welcome difference. Craig received a box of papers and a tiny cheque from the previous 'managers' (who weren't licensed, nor understood how to run an Owner's Corporation) and turned us into a fully functioning Owners Corporation that is legally compliant and well run. I would like to thank the MBCM Essendon team for their help and guidance in setting up our first Owners Corporation. Our first development of 8 units was daunting enough, without having to try and understand all of the legal obligations of Owners Corporation law. They did everything for us, on time and at no cost to set up everything up. Craig & his team took over management of our self-managed block of 16 units around two years ago. Since they started looking after or property, they have had competed several large and complex remedial projects that have been pending for many years.

All works have been carried out within set budgets & in a timely fashion and this has improved the value of our investment significantly. They are also very knowledgeable on Owners Corporation law, which has been pivotal in getting these works completed.

Thank you for the Owners Corporation Management over the past years. It has been a professional service, well executed. The improvement from previous Body Corporate Managers to MBCM under Gert Kuiper and subsequently yourselves has been a great improvement and was a smooth transition from a difficult situation. Since MBCM has been managing the property there has been prompt service to all issues raised. I note the recent issue of the basketball ring, seems to have come to a conclusion - thank you for managing a tricky situation.

Recently bought a house but I have to say after nine years living in a unit complex with body corporate, after three terrible experiences with body corps, we finally selected Melbourne Body Corporate Management based in Essendon and the difference was like night and day.
