I've been a Max Brenner fan from way back when they first had a store in Paddington and have enjoyed seeing them expand like they have. The only drawback is that as they have grown, the quality and generosity in their products and service have decreased in contrast to the rise in their prices. Their menu is also really tired now - I think they should definitely invest in a menu re-vamp and employ people who seem like they want to work there.
Max Brenner is my long-term favorite.....just price is a little high...for student it is a little expensive to have it but it is really deserve, the experience is amazing
A very good management reliable and honest shop.They have a great range of chocolate in shop. My kids go to there at least once a month because they love the shop and me too like the place. we also like their pancake.
the best thing close to chocolate love the strawberries and i dip them into the rich chocolate bowl and into my mouth the taste makes u think yr in heaven
i go once a week to have a special chocolate crepes and a beautiful smooth hot chocolate and ritchness of the chocolate

Yes it's annoying when you have to queue for a long time to get your 2nd and 3rd order in, but I'm still a happy camper.
Strawberry and melted chocolate, pancake omg! I don't care if it costs too much. Seriously better than most mediocre meals.
Love this place when ever Im not on the tummy watch Ill go and treat myself its great. The service is good and the choices are fantastic, Chocolate heaven. Its Marvelous without exageration.

I always love chocolate and Max Brenner is always my first choice of eating chocolate. Their services are generally good and prices are reasonable too.
My favourite chocolate place for sure. The banana crepes is sooo good. I introduced sucko to a few friends who simply love the experience of warm chocolate using a metal straw. Oh, not to mention refill of milk. Yum. Best of all, they do it in soy as well.

Love starting my Newtown pub crawl in Max Brenner. Nice Iced Chocolate to line the stomach and maybe even share a chocolate fondo with friends before we get stuck into it. Always packed and don't really expect customer service - as after you have queued for ages, handed over a little bit too much $$ for what you get - but hey, it's pretty damn good!
Yes it's cramped, but for chocolate lovers it's an absolute must. Oh, for couples go to the one on Oxford Street or the one in Wynard where you have more room to cuddle up etc etc

YUM! Max Brenner is always good for chocolate lovers. The tutti frutti waffles are really good. This particular Max Brenner is just as good as the rest!
Came here for a quick coffee and desert and couldnt decide with all the variety! ended up with 5 plates between 3 people and was absolutely stuffed. it is quite expensive and it takes a while to get the food but its delicious so i guess its worth it. not a regular habit tho
Good for dessert. Quite original and a pretty extensive menu of chocolate-based treats! The tutti-frutti waffles were great, but the chocolate pizza was a bit of a let down.
The service was extremely disappointing. There was spilled drinks on the floor which were not cleaned up for at least 45 minutes, and it took a very long time for the food to come out. The quality of the food was not as great as some of the other Max Brenner's. I would not recommend going here.

Everything was delicious! I would definately recommend the tutti frutti waffles and any of the hot chocolates. I cant wait to go back there again

Love Max Brenner & it fitted so well when it finally opened up at Newtown.
Its closest to my work & when im needing my fix I would call & order my chocolate lick for takeaway & it would be ready for me in a few mins when I arrived! great stuff

This is really a great place. Very spacious and the staff are fabulous. Just opened, and heaps bigger than gloria Jeans further down. A great place to have coffee
OMG WOW! Brand new store in Newtown and we loved it, went on a Wednesday night before sister left the country and it was quite busy, but most of the food (apart from crepes) came out quickly and was amazing. Loved the frappes in the alice mug. Staff was really nice too. We had a great time
