Interesting experience for anyone who has not been....
The eatery is located within the Kustom Kommune - a motorcycle workshop that anyone can come and make use of, with a range of memberships on offer. Walking inside the workshop, the motorcycles are in full view, with a bar in one corner and food being served from another corner.
The atmosphere is unique. There’s a relaxed vibe with the requisite deep South American music playing from the speakers and an assortment of American paraphernalia dotted throughout the place. There’s even the occasion film being projected onto one of the walls. Nothing feels forced, and the merger of the motorcycle and American BBQ culture really works. Suits, bikers, hipsters – everyone’s welcome.
Onto the food. We ordered the “Woody Harrelson” a sort of “greatest hits” platter, great introduction to what Ironbark BBQ does - $50.
You get a choice of Angus brisket or pulled pork (we chose the brisket), lamb ribs, links (spicy thick sausages), green slaw (green apple, capsicum, sesame & mint), red slaw (red chilli. radish, capsicum & cumin) and a decent sized serving of potato salad with capers, dill and spring onion.
Delicious.
Highly recommend. Especially for BBQ lovers.

In love with the lamb ribs, so tasty and very addictive. Really interesting fresh salads and the brisket is delicious. Service is refectory style, complete with plastic trays, the food is sold by weight and it's all really good. Highly recommended by a serious food snob!

The most delicious beef and lamb ribs I have ever had! Juicy, tasty and served with a very yummy slaw! Their special seasoning makes all the difference. Absolutely recommend! Must try for ALL (they also do some delicious Vego options)!!

Colonial british - from the decor to the menu. The mixed timber furniture, lanterns, neatly piled lumber, all creates a rustic farmyard feel that is charming. The menu is interesting, with options such as Bread and dripping, Beef cheek pastrami with pickled walnuts and fresh horseradish, Pork shoulder with coffee pickled onions. A really interesting addition to the Workers' Club.
