Herbaceous

I received a wonderful massage from Gabriella earlier this month. It was a 45 minute session that focused on my back, neck and shoulders. Her technique was a mixture of acupressure and Swedish massage with oil. Gabriella had the strength to really push through the many knots in my back but also eased off at times allowing me to relax and enjoy it. The setting at Herbaceous was peaceful; complete with calming music and mellow scents.
Gabriella took keen note of the parts of my body that were tense or tender. At the end of the session she not only alerted me to these areas but gave me stretches and exercises to do in my own time to help these sore points. For me, this demonstrated an exceptional level of service - Gabriella not only provided an excellent massage but also additional information to improve my health going forward. I wholly recommend Gabriella for anyone looking for a professional, beneficial and enjoyable massage.

I first went to see Gabriella at Herbaceous at a time when I was juggling a lot of responsibilities and feeling rather stressed. My sleep was really bad, and I was suffering from restless legs, a bit of anxiety and generally just feeling a bit scattered. The consultation was fantastic, Gabriella is very empathetic and intuitive. The herbs I was prescribed were just marvelous, they made me feel like I was being given a hug on the inside. They helped be to regain focus, quieten my mind and improve my sleep. I would highly recommend Herbaceous.

I started seeing Gabriella a few months ago as I was feeling stressed/tired and not sleeping well. Work related anxiety and Stress!!!!!! And now on work care. My choices were meditation or medication. Not a difficult choice! I tried the meds but didn't feel myself, nor did I feel the urge to be on meds for long term and was fearful of addiction.
Earlier this year, having had my meltdown, I found myself standing in front of my car, ready to leave a counselling session for the above mentioned ailments, (nearby), looked up and saw the Herbaceous sign, offering meditation. Walked in, met Gabriella, enrolled and haven't looked back. 6 week course - amazing. Am now able to manage the insomnia which I've suffered from due to work stresses for over a year (in 6 classes) I am signing up again to continue working on managing the anxiety - Gabriella is confidential, and her work is undeniably the best medicine for me. I also suffered from regular headaches and migraines and have only had 2 headaches in 4 months. I'm convinced of her capacity to support anyone that has or is suffering from similar ailments. My GP and Counsillor are equally impressed and I will ask them to contribute their validation on my behalf. I'm adding this point because its important to acknowledge that your GP knows what's best and mine was thrilled when I handed the meds back. He's confident that I'm in good hands. Same with my Counsillor. I am feeling so much better and on the path to recovery.

Such a lovely, easy experience. Gab is just so calming and you really feel like you are being treated as an individual with specific needs. Gab seems to really be able to hone in on what you need, even if you don't. Also dog friendly which makes for a relaxed and homey vibe. Highly recommend.

Gab is a lovely person, and spends a lot of time and patience in getting to know you and treating the root cause of your ailment. I found relief and improvement in my condition within a month. Gab at Herbaceous offers a really personal and flexible service. You get the sense that she genuinely cares about you and how you are - you are not just another client to get through in half an hour. I was really unwell when I went to her and am now healthy and happy and feeling great - and I can bring my dog with me!

I have found Gab' to be a very genuine and calming influence on my life each week. She is very well educated, is always researching more answers and you never feel like you're being pushed out the door when you're done. She goes at your pace and was born to be a masseuse - she is truly amazing!

After my 7 year old daughter was having trouble getting to sleep, i booked her into one of Gabi's meditation for kids classes. Straight after the first session, i noticed how calm she was and with the help of her special herbal tea after school, she is sleeping so well and the dramas before bed have been avoided.
