When was your business founded?

Fully Wired Electrical was founded by our Director, Jay in 2008. We grew even while in the middle of the GFC. By 2011, after the Brisbane Floods, wife Krista joined the business to help take it to the next level and focusing on providing the best customer service in the market. By 2015, we had grown to have two divisions - Service and Maintenance, and Body Corporate. Through excellent relationships and reputation, the business grew steady to where we are now. We have over a team of over 15 staff and service greater Brisbane and Ipswich.

What guarantees or warranties do you offer, if any?

We offer a lifetime guarantee on all our workmanship. We are proud of our professionalism, high quality of work, and thorough safety practices.

What is your level of experience in this line of work?

Jay has been an electrician since 2006 and has a long, successful career in both business and electrical works. The Fully Wired Team contains employees who are continually upskilled, challenged and rewarded. Most of the staff have been a part of the team since their apprenticeship - which demonstrates the high level of employee satisfaction and shared knowledge.

What certifications, qualifications or awards has your business received?

We have our split system air conditioning licence, as well as our security licence. We have a specialist electrician who has over 10yrs experience in all cameras and protection products and services.

We have been a proud and active member with the Body Corporate Association - SCA - and continue to contribute to the safety and services industry,

What is your fee structure like? Fixed fees? Hourly rates?

We have found our customers appreciate up front pricing on all works - it avoids any nasty surprises and allows our customers to make an informed decision before engaging in work.

We offer investigation and specialist advice too, especially for more complex and large electrical projects such as body corporate switchboard upgrades or relocations.

What are your current prices (fixed and variable)?

Our current prices are provided on a job by job basis and determined after a thorough site visit and consultation with the client. When we provide a quote, it is a fixed price so the customer is not surprised by additional costs and can have peace of mind.

Are you a member of any professional / industry associations?

We are a part of the Master Electricians Association as well as the SCA.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

We love being able to help people improve their home or business. Whether it is because they are growing, or modernising or expanding their capacity for their building. We love working directly with customers and the best part is when they continue to come back!

What are your payment terms and conditions? Do you offer payment plans? Afterpay? Interest-free terms?

Our payment terms depends on the customer. If a business or body corporate, we can discuss the most suitable payment plans. For residential work, we ask for payment upon completion.

What makes you unique compared to your competitors?

Our customers tell us time and time again how much they appreciate our excellent communciation and customer service. Our electricians don't just do the minimum - they spend the time to get to know exactly what you need and work out the best solution for now and the future. Our electricians provide options based on the whole building and how the person or business uses it. We treat customers like long term partners.

What insurance do you hold, and what value are you covered for?

We have all the required insurances.

How quickly can work be completed? What are your turnaround times? Do you offer same-day service?

We are a service and maintenance business and can provide same day service where required - especially if an urgent request! We usually have openings for smaller tasks within the next few days, and larger works can be booked in within 5 - 7 working days. Our friendly customer service staff are there to answer your call.
