Do not buy from here!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT BUY FROM DIGIDIRECT!!!!
Bought a camera lens, however I realised as soon as I ordered that I’d bought the wrong one. Called and was able to swap to the correct lens and pay the additional amount. (This was the only positive experience).

I asked during this call if I could pick the lens up in store rather than posting it to me. They checked and advised they only had stock in their warehouse and could either send it to a store for pick up or post ot to me.

I opted for them to just post it to me.
They advised it would be sent via express post the next day and I’d receive a tracking number and the lens would arrive within 3 business days.

I didn’t receive a tracking number so called on the 4th business day to confirm the tracking number and when the item was sent.

I was advised that there was no tracking number but their system said it had been delivered.

I advised them that I hadn’t received the item. They put me on a short hold and came back saying there was an issue with their system and retrieving tracking numbers and to call back the next day to get it.

Called the next day and was advised that they hadn’t sent the lens and that they’d escalate it and have it sent straight away and I’d receive a tracking number by email after a few hours.

I didn’t receive an email so I called back. They said that they had no stock and that the lens was on back order and their estimated stock delivery was end of May 2025.

After going back and forth about why I was told there was stock when there wasn’t and why it took three calls to be told this, I decided to just cancel and refund my order. They told me that they would send a request to cancel and refund the order and it would be actioned in 1-2 business days. I told them that I was not going to wait an additional two business days for the refund request to be actioned.
They advised they would do it straight away.

Received an email confirming the order was cancelled. Will see how long the refund takes. However I’m doubtful it will be refunded and I’ll have to follow up again.

Pathetic service - scammers

I purchased a Fuji Lens on DigiDirect's On-Line Site in November for my son's Christmas present. It advertised "Awaiting Stock. This means item is within an estimated 2 weeks from delivery to digiDirect." Christmas has come and gone and a month later still no lens. When I contact them, I am told at least 2 Months. I have contacted them again since, and now they cant even provide me a date or any tracking facility.
DO NOT buy from DigiDirect if you are looking for a reputable Dealer. They falsely advertise lead times & discounts when you subscribe, they don't hold stock and they don't care once they have your money. They are SCAMMERS - you are better to go elsewhere.

I have purchased my camera on Sep 1st at digiDirect Brisbane store. And I was really disappointed to find there was a dead pixel on the LCD screen after 7 days of use. So I went to the store to ask for an exchange for a new camera, but the staff said this is not a “major problem” and can only be sent to repair. And on Sep 27th, I received an email to pick up my camera which said it has been repaired. But when I turned on my camera, I found the dead pixel was still on the screen, and the problem still exists! And the staff said that the camera could only be sent back for repair again. So I asked the staff if I could get a new one, but he said I could only replace the camera within 14 days of purchase. So I searched for the return and exchange policy and found that on official website did not mention that customers can only replace the item within 14 days of purchase. I feel very disappointed and angry, I think the time and number of repairs of the camera has exceeded my tolerance period and is very unreasonable, I have the right to ask for a new camera.

So I wrote an email to the store. And the manager contacted me to say there was a communication problem and helped me exchange a new camera. I am happy to see that problem has been solved.

Frauds....less than 1 star for online. sold me a camera that exists for sale as a used item, then says oops this used item is on Backorder? not sure how that works, then say yes its at Sydney store, then 3 days later OOOOOOPPPS we sold it.
Theives, dont use them. Thats the online service. Not sure how the shopfronts are

They use only Phillipino VA's for support, noone of any authority can get on the phone, they don't solve any issues unless you follow up 8 times.

Had to cancel a pre order, took me 4 follow ups to get the refund, I had used 2 gift cards in this pre order too, they didn't allow me to get a refund on the gift cards either, finding this second part out took 3 days also.

Then when they sent me the gift cards again, I couldn't use the second one and when I went to pay it wouldn't allow me to process any payment methods.

I am absolutely blown away by how incomptetent this company is, they create issue after issue after issue and unless you get on the front foot with them they will do nothing.

Placed an order for a pair of binoculas & then received an email stating that they had oversold the items and were not able to say when they would be in stock again. When I checked my credit card the full amount had been deducted. The email stated I should contact them if I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund. I called them to cancel and sent an email after being on hold half an hour. I have bought goods from digidirect before without an issue but for some reason they seem to be running it all as a scam now. Very disappointing.

Usually it's 7-14 days, but occasionally the supplier might not have stock themselves, or are unable to advise the ETA, as it appears happened in this case. I apologise for that. I had a similar experience to some of the other customers below during the Black Friday sale, where my purchase was oversold & I was put on a wait list. I was offered a $50 gift voucher for the inconvenience. I waited a couple of weeks & then sent through an email to [email protected] asking for an update on my order. I received a response within 24 hours from Shawn, saying they had chased up my order & had organised it to be expressed posted to me at no extra cost.

It was unfortunate that DigiDirect oversold products over the Black Friday sale period (most likely due to a stock integration issue with their website I would assume), but once I chased my order up, the customer service was more than acceptable. I would definitely give these guys another chance in the future, they have great prices & a huge range of products.

On Thursday 8th December 2022 I bought a Espresso MountGo
Stand for 13" or 15" Displays for $99 so I can use the Espresso ED0001 13 in Touchscreen Display Monitor - Grey. I also bought an espressoPen for $119 so I can draw on the Espresso ED0001 13 in Touchscreen Display Monitor - Grey. They were both posted together with Express Post of $10.

On Monday 30th January 2023 the items were confirmed lost in transit by Australia Post so on Tuesday 31st January 2023 they gave me a full refund since I never received both the items.

Placed an order for a Miops Trigger and cable I received an email stating that they had oversold the items and were not able to say when they would be in stock again. When I checked my credit card account I found they had deducted $278. The email stated I should contact them if I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund. This I did and have only received automated reply, tried there customer service line gave up after being on hold for over an hour. Have bought goods from digidirect before without an issue but I will be thinking twice before doing it again

yet again digidirect have sold me goods online that they don't actually have in stock Then it takes at least two days to let you know that its not in stock (if they tell you at all) and they have no idea when it will be in stock. They have a stock system that allows them to oversell items so if you need something in anything less than a month be warned.... you may not get it in time. I will now be using another retailer.

First time ever writing a review, but feel that my negative experience should be shared for those who are thinking of purchasing from digiDirect in the future.

I made an expensive purchase in July from their online store but quickly realised that I had bought the incorrect item (before anything was even dispatched). Upon reaching out to their customer service hotline, as well as email I either received no response or was told that someone would reach out to resolve the issue...

2 MONTHS LATER, and I still have't received a proper response from their 'Sales team', a refund or at the very least a status update of where the item is?? My money seems to have just disappeared...

Would never recommend digiDirect to anyone and will not be purchasing from them again in the future.

Promised 24h to in store pickup on online page for Canon M50.
There was no contact by 2 days till i asked customer service, and upon asking, was informed that product was not available. There was no ETA of arrival or product from manufacturers. Trying to obtain a refund, and then a separate web order online email emails "informing" that it was not available. Does not offer refund, still selling item online with no indication that this is not available, or that it is unable to fulfil the delivery/pickup dates due to item not being available.
