Simply the worst company I have ever met in construction, from unintelligible quote organisation, surprise attacks of delivery without confirmation, obtuse business practices that change within minutes and cannot be explained, pass the buck at all costs, attempted and successful add on costs for their mistakes. If dealing with competent companies with employees that take responsibility is getting boring for you, then use Canterbury Windows and strap yourself in for the rollercoaster. I wonder if their motto is "Your business? Like we care!" or "Your problems? Not our problems!".

We installed some double glazed windows. It was a challenge just getting the windows delivered as they were not delivered on the delivery date which we confirmed over the phone. They said they had no record of this and that they were never going to deliver on the date that our paperwork said despite this date being confirmed over the phone the day before delivery! The window quality is poor - the winders need replacing and we haven't even used them yet. Would not recommend purchasing from this company .

Having installed Stegbar timber windows when we renovated the ground floor of our house some years ago, were took some convincing when our builder suggested we use Canterbury Windows when adding an upper storey this year. Whilst the double hung sash windows are much smoother to open and close and rattle less than the Stegbar windows, the hardware is chunky and several barrel locks were faulty needing to be replaced. My complaint is that the panes of glass came with the glass manufacturers logo engraved into the glass, and when this issue was raised direct with Viridian I was advised a request could have been made not to have this. How was I to know to request not to have something that I did not know would be there in the first place? All attempts to resolve this issue with Customer Service / Management at Canterbury Windows have been ignored and while I would rate the quality of the actual timber windows highly, my opinion of their complaints department could not be lower. I'm still waiting for a return call or email 3 weeks on!
