I have never thought this could have happened to me, but when I realised I had definitely lost my data on a faulty hard drive I was really caught off guard. I did not really know who was I going to turn to for help. I didn't know if there was hope to get my data back with the disk in such a bad state. All you would want is somebody trustworthy and capable to help you dealing with a problem like this without needing to worry of anything else but your data. Thankfully I got lucky and found Data Detect. I contacted them on a Monday evening, I was called back Tuesday morning. The engineering was extremely courteous, they quoted precisely the worst case scenario for the type of service I needed and explained everything they could do in order to attempt the recovery. By Wednesday I already knew my data could be saved. They kept me updated of every step they made and eventually even managed to recover the entire content of the disk.
