Staff are very friendly and the food is quick, tasty and cheap. It's BYO which makes it a great place to meet up with friends for a chat over dinner.
For traditional Japanese cuisine and service, these guys are the best. The decor leaves a little to be desired, which is reflected in my overall star rating, but this doesn't deter us or obviously anyone else - bookings can be hard to get and it's always packed. Menu is also pretty inexpensive, if it's your first time I'd recommend getting a number of different dishes and sharing between a few people so that you get to try a bit of everything. Great!
Really great staff! They are super friendly, and always ready to please. The food is fast, and fresh, and always delicious! It's best to book tho, as they fill up pretty quick!

Its BYO and corkage is relatively cheap. Make sure you book as it can get busy. The food is tasty and cheap. They don't have much room and the tables are quite close together.
Fantastic Food, great atmosphere, excellent value for money. Also child friendly. Can get very busy so best to book. Sit indoor or out door.

The atmosphere at Cha Chas isn't the best as it's a little crowded, but the price of the food makes up for it. The food is good (not amazing) but the price is fantastic. My friend and I shared an entree and had two mains for less than $30. So, if you're looking for a meal that's great value for money then this is the place. It's not a romantic setting but a great place to catch up with friends over a few wines (BYO and corkage is relatively cheap)
