AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Bought Graphics card DOA. Took Computer in. I wanted card replaced not my computer checked. Had I was told of cost, I would not have brought computer in, instead I would of given them only the card. Charged $110, made huge fuss as they were going to charge $195. All for a faulty card that is still yet to be replaced. Days of lies and inconviences. Lack of transparency. which in the end was sent back to their warehouse, now their warehouse has to check for it being faulty, where their technicians confirmed it to be in the first place at the branch. Double handling. I have never heard of such daylight robbery before. If you purchase a good that is faulty within that week it should be instant replacement with no cost. Stay away from them all.

On Thursday 12th September 2024 I went there to return a Seagate BarraCuda 500GB 2.5" Internal Hard Drive x 2 and a Verbatim 3m PVC HDMI Cable - Black for $78.94 to the Nunawading Store, which I purchased on Saturday 7th September 2024. I spoke to Jai who processed the credit note for me but when I rang and spoke to him to question the 15% restocking fee he got extremely abusive with me and he said there is nothing I can do for you so get lost. I will never step foot inside this store again and I would advise others to do the same.

Absolutely recommend, Centre Com always has the parts in stock, their service and order dispatch for online sales is incredibly fast and all parts are neatly and very safely packaged. I recently ordered a M/B, CPU and Ram to complete my upgrades and received the order the next day to a small country town in SA that usually takes a week for a simple letter.
Will definitely be using Centre Com again.

I am a high level quadriplegic, and I purchased two Bluetooth headsets, because I am totally reliant on Bluetooth to connect me with my phone and my laptop. The headsets weren't appropriate, so I sent them back after having been told that they would only charge me 12% restocking fee. That was one month ago, and I still haven't been refunded. I have constantly emailed them, and now I am being totally ignored. Do not under any circumstances purchase anything from them.

My advise if you are considering purchasing from Centre.com is don't!
Whilst their products are reasonably priced if not cheaper, their customer service is beyond terrible.

I ended up with a faulty MSI motherboard and 3 months later I'm still waiting hear from centre.com what is happening. Despite weekly attempts to contact them, I've barely received any response from them.

I'm now at the point where I've contacted the ACCC.
My advise checkout Scorptec or Umart, they're reasonably priced and have good customer service.

The laptop I purchased is great, but the advertised bonus promotional items have not been delivered. Absolutely no response to 8 phone calls, 2 online tickets or several emails. Interestingly, the online sales phone number has been removed from their web page. Nobody is answering or dealing with this issue, very disappointing.... I cannot recommend them... I'll be contacting Consumer Affairs tomorrow.

I have been in the I.T Field for 10 years some of which i spent in government,
I have never experience problems like this and i have dealt with Umart, PC case gear,
even MSY, all other Australian providers all of which have followed consumer rights. However i spent over $5000 in multiple systems with Centrecom,

First of all upon inspecting all products i found indications of over 60% of products sent refurbished.

Second the 3090 i ordered was running poorly since i got it in terms of performance, however when running another normal game it produced FPS lag due to temp,
even though the system it was in is worth over $10k with extremely efficient cooling. upon the fps lag the display went black and the fan rpm was stuck at 99%
rpm. at this point the card melted and was no longer functional.

Third the motherboard i had issues with the second it arrived x299 was one of the products that looked refurbished upon installing it correctly i noticed a few
issues which led to multiple sparks and fires. at this point i gave centrecom the benefit of the doubt thinking it was just a simple mistake. I sent back the
product they sent it back with no evidence that they even touched it let alone fixed it. I resume installing it into another simple system to test with working
products it did the same thing if not worse due to the problems it had before. At this point the products from centrecom has damage and/or affected all other
products it was linked to.

Fourth is the most absurd scam attempt ive ever witnessed in this field. I claimed warranty and refund for those faulty parts above specifiying the exact
order numbers and the exact specific information in order of what to refund and what to replace i requested for those faulty parts which caught on fire and
what ever its linked to for refund, then i requested the 3090 to be replaced ande sent back a "new" one at this point someone from centrecom staff team
executed a refund for the 3090 by itsself.. mind you the 3090's have gone up in price since i purchased it at $2k They literally tried to scam me against
my will they tried to refund the 3090 which i advised against. they ignored my instructions and tried to benefit themselves.

Please what ever you do take my story into consideration and shop elsewhere do not let their free shipping fool you its not worth it.

Stay away from CentreCom Sunshine! Horrible service, Sales department, technical department, warranty department! People working there are like robots, just repeating 5 lines they have learned and not listening to customer and customer circumstances. Unhelpful, unprofessional, and they make promises that they don't keep. Will never purchase anything at CentreCom ever again. We have spent $$thousands of dollars, yet they would not even replace MSI Leopard GL65 laptop under warranty - saying that it is not covered by warranty and that my son has forcefully removed the key from the laptop. Like he has nothing better to do, but forcefully remove a laptop key that he has been waiting for such a long time. I have explained to them what has happened and they have completely ignored everything I have said, saying they know that this is not possible, and that my son has forcefully removed this key. How ridiculous is this? It is disgrace and such a disappointing service!

Still no clue items sent or not. Order placed on 17th Dec, going to be a month soon. Ordered items which were in stock, then they told one of the item is sold out so have to wait, then got another message they will swap for another model which I said okay. Then got a mail few days later, old stock is back and will sort soon, then no more information as it was the warehouse job. Recently knew it is not sent yet and now the warehouse in under renovation till 13th Jan.

Worst part is phones are not properly answered and never been able to speak to a human on phone. No call back system etc. Waiting on the fate. Writing so that it reminds me to make this the last purchase from this company.

I placed my order 10 days ago through their website, with all of the items being in stock and supposedly ready to ship, but every time I call them to check on my order more and more of them seem to be going out of stock. First it was just the thermal paste, then just the RAM, now they're waiting on both the WiFi card AND RAM to come into stock before they can send my order. I need this computer for work and paid for express shipping so it would come quickly, but they've already pushed the shipping estimate back 3 times and sold me on parts they didn't obviously even have in stock. Unacceptable.

I bought a new MSI laptop from these guys and I'm glad I did. Their price was irresistible, so I decided to take the risk, even after reading the reviews on this page. I decided to pay a little extra, about $20 for 'expedited shipping' as a sort of insurance policy.

I placed my order from Brisbane on a Wednesday evening. By 7.30 am the next morning I saw the order had been processed and I accessed a tracking number. I then saw it was delivered to Melbourne airport that evening. By Friday morning it had arrived at Brisbane airport and it was delivered to my address before lunchtime. Feasibly I could have received the item within 24 hours had I placed the order on the Thursday morning.

I was impressed. I got a great deal and the delivery was awesome for paying the extra $20. Well worth it because of the around $500 saving compared to other retailers. Will definitely shop there again next time.

Fairly disappointed.. bought some ram online, rather simple really.. turned out to be faulty.. ok that happens.. but what happens next doesn't.. when I contacted them to arrange warranty they responded confirming my details you know name address email that kind of thing... but only they provided me with another customers full details, full name, address email wow that's unprofessional..not to mention risky.. what with all the identity theft there days.. but it doesn't stop there... I finally get my replacement ram back and it's faulty again!... so I'm pretty unlucky now.. so I try to call centrecom, theyre not taking calls due to covid.. alright, so I email centrecom, 3 days go by.. Nothing.. so I email again.. 3 days go by... Nothing.. so I create a ticket on their website and in their first response I get told off for creating multiple tickets... Yeah ok... Well maybe if you didn't take more than 8 days to get back to people they wouldn't need to...

Terrible ordered a custom built system, delay after delay, excuse after excuse!

Their website says "Please Note: If the parts were in stock when you made the purchase they'll be allocated to you, even if the status changes to "sold out" later" yet they emailed me 8 days after the order was placed on said the item is sold out!! What the.....

Customer service is pathetic at best, misleading at worst!

4 Weeks Thus FAR AND NO PC, NO EMAIL WITH AN UPDATE JUST NOTHING

Absolutely abysmal customer service. My order was posted to the wrong address due to an issue with the Centre Com website and AusPost sent the package back to Centre Com after it being in transit for 10 days.

I tried to contact Centre Com and they blamed everything on me. They told me my only options were to pay $15 to get it reshipped to me or pay $15 for restocking. To which I decided both and when I tried to get someone to talk to me about it, everyone completely vanished and have left me with no other recourse to fix this issue.

One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with in my life and I will never ever buy anything wrong them again and I recommend that you do the same.

Please stay away from this store! They are not a company you can trust , they will avoid any cost if you come back for return or exchanges then they act very aggressive not very friendly . They lies about warranty , and blame on covid-19 to delay the replacement. They kept mine for more than two month without a single contact..im still in the dark and waiting . I took them to consumers affair ....let see how it turn out ...
