I can't put into words how extraordinary the service at Butleigh Wootton is! We had our wedding there in March and I can say they do more for their clients that anyone could ever expect. They made us feel so cared for and they thought of everything. So much work, time, effort, care, consideration and love went into everything they did. Butleigh Wotton provides professionalism beyond compare. What is telling also, is that all of the suppliers we used for flowers, music, photos, the celebrant etc (who see what happens behind the scenes at a venue!) said how great, professional and kind the staff are at Butleigh Wootton and how beautiful the venue is. Thank you to the team at Butleigh Wootton, you made it the most wonderful day of our lives!

We had our wedding early March 2016 and are so grateful we had our day at the Butleigh Wootton.
Both Dannii and Clare are true professionals and very pleasant and down to earth, leading up to wedding they were always so enjoyable to deal with and that goes for the whole team there for that matter. On the day the Butleigh Wootton delivered in every aspect including tentative service, excellent food and general organisation. Breathtaking setting and great value! Highly recommended

Butliegh staff are second to none. They were more than happy to accommodated every request no matter how big or little. The food was excellent. The organisation on the night was amazing. The venue is gorgeous. And compared to most wedding venues, this place is very affordable. Overall the most amazing place to have celebrated our wedding.

Love this place! We received a lot help not just during the day, but also before the wedding. Staff at BW have been very friendly, understanding and helpful. My guests were also very impressed by the building and the dinning room. Food was good too! Definitely recommend it to people who are looking for a delicate and nice place for their big days!

We celebrated outer wedding here in December 2015. We have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. Everyone was great to deal with, especially Dannii and Anna. They were always so friendly! The place is spectacular, service amazing and the food was delicious.

We had our reception at Butleigh Wootton in Nov 2015. From the stunning venue to the tailored care from the staff, we had an absolutely incredible night. Do not under-estimate the little things that this venue offers that others might not, such as no need to think about decorating, basic table setting is included, ceremony space, master of ceremony provided etc. I had a little drama throughout the night and my function coordinator Dannii kept me calm and was an absolute gem throughout the experience.
Thank you all at Butleigh Wootton I really hope to be back again in the future (but maybe not to be wed again myself)

We cannot recommend Butleigh Wooton highly enough. They hosted our wedding luncheon on November 7th 2015. Everything was perfect. The venue speaks for itself and needs very little decorating to create a beautiful, classy ambience. Every one of our 90 guests commented on how lovely the venue was. The staff, food and service was also fantastic. Dannii, Clare, Leonie and Anna were all wonderful and very accommodating of our every request. Their ability to organise and co-ordinate the day was exceptional. Everything was smooth and effortless. We're very grateful for their efforts to make our wedding memorable and fun. You can tell that they have experience and that they are a "well oiled machine". Their attention to detail is second to none. We wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.

Love the ambiance and staff service especially Anna and Claire. The canapes were great too!

We had our wedding 3 weeks ago. Clare, the event coordinator was superb. She is very organised and the event ran smoothly. The rest of the staff was also helpful. Food are also amazing. All of our guests really enjoyed it. Highly recommended for under 100 guests.

We recently had our wedding reception and ceremony done at Butleigh Wootton and it ran absolutely perfect. The coordinators made sure of the running of the event, and it couldn't have been any better then how it turned out. Highly recommended for parties of 50-110.

Superb! Perfect choice for our wedding! We organised it all from abroad and Butleigh Wootton made it all so easy. I was nervous but when I came to see the venue just a week before the wedding I wqs overjoyed. The venue was gorgeous, the staff professional and efficient and they made us feel so at ease. Dannii was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble and she, and the other staff, made me feel so relaxed and in safe hands. The food was wonderful too. All the guests stated how perfect everything had been. On the day, everything was taken care of and I didn't need to worry about a thing. The staff truly know what they are doing and they do it well. Our winter wedding was everything I could have dreamed it to be. Thank you so much.

It was one of our best decision to have our winter wedding in Butleigh Wootton. Ceremony marquee and especially reception venue are absolutely beautiful. Love every corner of the venue and makes all my wedding photos look so pretty and memorable. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. I want to highlight one male staff who noticed a button on the floor and he took the effort to ask whose button was that, rather than just threw it away. The button was actually from my wedding gown! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Dannii, the function coordinator was also very professional, efficient, friendly and helpful from the very beginning since we start liaising with her half a year ago until the end of the day of the wedding. Thanks again to everyone in Butleigh Woottton that made my wedding so beautiful. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Highly organised, they know exactly what they're doing. I was an unfussy bride and they made all the decisions I needed to make so easy! Brilliant venue - gorgeous architecture and very well presented. Staff were exceedingly professional and friendly the entire time. Everyone had a compliment for the venue, the food and the atmosphere.

The experience we received was amazing. The venue and the food was great and above our expectations and the function coordinators definitely was very organised and kept our day in control.

The staff is helpful and very friendly throughout the whole preparation and wedding day. Meal is hearty and delicious. Venue is beautiful and convenient access from most suburbs in Melbourne.

From the moment we walked in for our first tour to the moment we waved goodbye to all our guests the staff were wonderful! Always there when we needed them, so organised, polite, you can tell they all really love their job and really care about your special day. I can not fault anything. The venue is stunning, the food is DELICIOUS (everyone said so) and they staff are the best!

Our wedding was an absolute dream. The venue is amazing and everyone commented on it and the food aaying how elegant and magnificent everything was. Catherine and her team looked after every detail. It was prerfection and a wonderful day we and our 100 guests will never forget. Claire was outstanding! She took care of every little detail on the day and made sure we were relaxed and informed....and nothing was too hard. Truly God sent. We had the ceremony, photos and reception there and the bridal party got ready upstairs in the beautifully decorated rooms.
If you are looking for a timeless, beautiful, elegant and classic venue Butleigh Wootton is it. They look after everything for you!

We cannot recommend this venue highly enough.

From the moment we committed to having our wedding here, we're giving the utmost professional service. All of the function coordinators (primarily Catherine for us) were absolutely incredible.

Every aspect from our ceremony in the marquee at the back of the building followed by this reception inside ran perfectly. Every minute details thought of and catered for.

Portion sizes and the quality of meals were fantastic and much better than we have experienced at other reception centres.

Wish I could rate this place higher than 5 stars. Just had my wedding there and it was perfect. I was taken by the fantastic fireplaces (perfect place to stand around in suits drinking a neat scotch)

In Melbourne you need a plan A & B when it comes to weather. The marquee out the back meant that it was the same plan and would look amazing either way.

The organisers (Especially Catherine!) would always go above and beyond for you meaning there were never any stresses.

The food was one of the highest rated aspects of this place and I can tell you that they are all right. Top Class.

If you see this place, do everything you can to ensure you get married here.

I attended a wedding at Butleigh Wootton for my best friend last month and it couldn't have been better!

The venue itself is one of the most beautiful properties; an old mansion style house that is a mix of old-world glamour, but with modern updates (LOVED the bride's room upstairs and the spiral grand staircase!). The surrounding gardens were so pretty too and make the perfect setting for a wedding..

Watching my best friend walk down the main staircase in her stunning wedding dress was just the best! The Event Manager was so helpful and my best friend said the staff went above and beyond to ensure she and her now-husband were always so happy and their expectations were completely exceeded. The food was delicious too and of such a high standard - plus there's was plenty of it!

At the end of the night, the dance floor went off! It was such a brilliant night and the venue was certainly a major reason why the wedding was such a huge success. Highly recommend Butleigh Wootton, their exceptional and super-professional staff, their service, the venue, the gardens and the food... Really couldn't recommend it highly enough.

My best friend and her husband had the perfect night and so did all the guests!

I had my wedding here because I just loved the grounds and the STAIRCASE!!! But my advice is to have it during the day to take advantage of the gardens. There is parking on the property and some on the street. The staff were very helpful and I was rapt that i had the whole place to myself! Perfect for small weddings (about 80) fills the room nicely. It felt very regal...loved it. The upstairs bridal suites were perfect to have some time out from the hectic day.

We went to a wedding reception here on Saturday. The venue is beautiful and the staff are really friendly and attentive.

The food was amazing ... Antipasto to start and then Ravioli with a Capsicum Sauce for Entree. The mains were Eye Fillet or Chicken (served alternatively) and apart from the chicken being a little bit dry the meals were delicious. Dessert was a Rose Water flavoured Panna Cotta with Fairy Floss and was delicious.

If you're looking for a reception venue I would highly recommend Butleigh Wootton - although I don't know what the cost per head was.

We've seen 3 wedding venues and had some more appointments, but once we stepped into Butleigh Wootton, we decided not to go anywhere else. We absolutely fell in love with this place from the moment we walked in! It is warm, inviting, classy, elegant and beautiful. The staff are very attentive, helpful and friendly.

We firstly thought we wouldn't be able to afford a wedding at this beautiful place almost in the center of the city, but were pleasantly surprised with the package prices.

We had both the ceremony and the luncheon reception at Butleigh. It was an absolutely beautiful day - staff ensured that everything ran smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The food was delicious, we are still receiving compliments from our guests. The mansion is full of gorgeous spots for wedding photos, including a beautiful garden.
We couldn't have been any happier with the service, the food and the venue. There was another wedding following ours, but at no time did we feel rushed by staff - it was an unforgettable day at the venue of our dreams. We really hope that some of our friends will have their wedding there, so that we can experience it all over again!

Went here for a wedding, absolutely stunning venue. Very elegant and classy. The outdoor patio was a lovely setting for pre dinner drinks. The food and wine were very nice, with service excellent.
