Gary and the team always do a great job looking after my family and I. Totally professional, very friendly, and always provide the best advice.

Dr Milton Herson ,and his team, Maxine & Abi have been tending to my dental care for the past 30 yrs.
Apart from regular check ups , Dr Herson is always available in my time of urgent dental care .
These guys are top of their game in their chosen profession.

I have been a patient of Bay St Dental and Milton for over 28 years who has provided our family with continuity of dental care throughout our sons’ childhood, teen years to adults as well as for myself and my husband. When you walk into the practice, you feel valued from the receptionists to the ‘dream team’ of Milton and Abi. They have always provided my family with the highest level of dental care and genuinely care for each of us personally. All staff are great to chat with too and are interested in what is going on in our lives. I used to fear dentists until I met Milton and his team. Now I look forward to going for my checkups as I know myself and my family are always in the best of care in their hands.

Let me preface this review by saying — I’m a 36-year-old woman whose only real wish in life (decided by fate, because no amount of money can buy it) is to find “my forever people” when it comes to healthcare. I’ve always believed that the more expensive the dentist or doctor, the better the care. And every time I try a new practice, I go in with the genuine hope that this will be the one. All I truly want is to find a place where I can build long-lasting trust — where I’m treated like I matter, where I feel safe and looked after, and where people actually care.

But I’ve been disappointed again and again. Appointments that drag on. Treatments that feel surface-level. A lot of money spent, with little to show for it. I’ve never had a dentist who made me feel genuinely cared for — until now.

Today, everything changed.

From the moment I walked into Bay Street Dental Group, I felt at home. The ladies at the front were so welcoming, so kind — even though I was a few minutes late, I didn’t feel judged or rushed. They all introduced themselves, smiled, and made me feel like I belonged there. That alone was a breath of fresh air.

Then I met Dr. Gary — and let me tell you, he did more for me in one appointment than all the dentists I’ve seen over the past 10 years combined. He was thorough, honest, and attentive. He told me things about my teeth that no one else had ever mentioned, but that I immediately knew were true.

For example, he told me I have a serious issue with clenching my teeth — and as soon as he said it, I realized how much tension I hold in my jaw all day, every day. And suddenly it all made sense: the gum issues, the discomfort, the wear and tear. He explained how the clenching was contributing to the condition of my gums — something I’ve spent years and thousands of dollars trying to treat, without ever knowing the real cause.

But what made this experience so different wasn’t just what he diagnosed — it was how he cared. He spoke to me like a person, not a number. He explained everything clearly, kindly, and with genuine interest in helping me get better. We’re now on a journey to fixing the underlying issue, starting with a splint to help with the clenching, and for the first time in forever, I feel like I’m finally on the right track.

I’ve already booked my next 4 appointments — and I’m actually excited to go to the dentist (never thought I’d say that!).

If you’re reading this and thinking about going to Bay Street Dental Group — do it. I promise you’ll be as grateful as I am that you found them. It’s more than just a dental clinic. It’s a team of wonderful humans who truly care.

Milton and Abbey are an awesome team always efficient caring and making that trip to the dentist more enjoyable!

It was a very smooth and easy process. I’ve been to dentists that aren’t very careful with and can knock the gums, but that didn’t happen here. 10/10 experience.

As Always , Dr Michael still the best Dentist I have ever dealt with , very kind & professional , today mum had a severe pain due to growing infection and he accommodate my request upon my call and helped her , can’t thank him enough , also all the team at this clinic was so helpful and welcoming , GOD Bless you all .

After numerous dentists, I found the one! Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, honest and just the best staff. My teeth have significantly improved. Still a journey, but I feel looked after, 100%!
I dont dred going to the dentist anymore and I really recommend them. I mean, I drive way out of my area to go to them. So worth it!!!

I have always had a lot of anxiety going to dentists however the staff here are so friendly and made me feel so comfortable during a not so comfortable procedure.

The whole team are just fantastic.
Especially with children I had a little 6 year old that needed to have a tooth out and they were just above and beyond professional calming and confident and my son was just in the best hands with Dr Milton and his team.

I have seen a couple of different dentists at this clinic - Dr Nish and Dr Milton - and they were both wonderful.

Dr Nish worked absolute magic in getting my autistic son in the chair and then managed to clean his teeth. I didn’t think that would happen but Dr Nish’s bedside manner and kindness made sure he was comfortable.

Dr Milton was excellent also. He took the time to explain things and also listened to understand the problem.

The practice team are also wonderful. I cannot recommend the practice highly enough.

I have been going here for ages. Everyone I have had deal with my teeth have been great. I now see Dr Nish. Very thorough, caring, not pushy about things you can't afford. Professional. Highly recommend.

I have full confidence in the work and advice I have received over many years from Dr Gary Newstadt. I returned to regular dental check-ups after I retired and after missing them for years while I was working. Gary has performed all the necessary procedures, minor major and everything in-between. Gary explained everything before any work was done, explained any options and gave advice which was easy to understand. All the dental nurses and receptionists know exactly what to do and everyone works well as a team.

I saw Dr Gary Newstadt and was/am very pleased with the service and care I received.
Honestly I was apprehensive seeing him because of some of the reviews below about him but I am now shocked because he was nothing but excellent! He is to the point but was never rude or uncaring.
My children have also seen Dr Milton several times and he was exceptional also.
I highly recommend both Dr Newstadt and Dr Milton.
