Arriving in Queensland a few years ago I was starting to panic I won’t found a good hairdresser. Fortunately I found a review about Alicia. It ticked all the boxes and I was able to make a booking.

Alicia is a professional, she listens to her clients, guides us along and most importantly explains her process. She is a gem. My elderly mother is also a client and Alicia has always been kind and understanding. Alicia is always happy for a chat and has been a goldmine of information about plants and gardening.

Colouring is a true art and Alicia has always made me look like a million bucks when I leave her salon. Located in Nerang it is a lovely oasis and elegantly appointed.

Doing people’s hair is a hard job but Alicia makes it look easy and I have always been very happy with my hairstyles. She is a wonderful person.

I've been seeing Alicia for over 11 years, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. I have thick, long, curly blonde hair that used to be difficult to manage, but Alicia has completely transformed it. Her expertise and thoughtful advice have made all the difference. Her haircuts are consistently flawless, and my curls have never looked healthier or more defined.

Before I was recommend to Alicia by a friend my hair was over processed, dry and damaged . From the first visit Alicia knew what was needed to repair the damage and was upfront about the process to repair my hair . My blonde hair is now healthy and natural looking . My foils are so well blended that even after 12 weeks my regrowth isn’t obvious and I get many compliments on how healthy and shiny my hair is now .
Alicia’s warm and friendly manner makes getting your hair done a treat to look forward to . I highly recommend Alicia , especially if you have blonde hair that you are struggling to maintain and keep healthy.

I was referred to Alicia years ago and I could not be happier. Alicia really takes the time to listen, and genuinely cares for every aspect of the service she delivers. I have naturally curly hair, and Alicia understands how to cut and style it perfectly - which is a rare find. In addition she is such a lovely person who makes every visit an absolute pleasure.

My valued hairdresser of long-standing retired and my discovery of Alicia was a happy accident. On my initial visit, I honestly didn’t expect much except a passable haircut and I thought Alicia would be the first of a long list of hairdressers and salons I would be trialing before I found the replacement I was hoping for.
However, Alicia was both my first and last stop in this rather pessimistic search. Even at first meeting, Alicia’s manner was warm and reassuring and she showed genuine interest in wanting to help me find the cut I was after. Even though my preferred cut seems to be a conglomeration of a number of styles, Alicia was unperturbed and felt that what I was after was certainly achievable. We experimented a little over a few months and now seem to have reached a comfortable understanding of what I like. Alicia uses her professional experience and knowledge to make suggestions but never insists. On a personal level, Alicia shows an intimate understanding of what a client hopes to achieve, even if they can articulate it only poorly. There is never a sense of being rushed or being made to feel an inconvenience. Alicia’s salon, in her pretty domestic setting invites relaxation. This lovely home salon is far a from a backyard setup. It is beautifully designed, equipped to the highest standards of quality and comfort and extremely private and welcoming. I recommend, with great sincerity and pleasure, Alicia’s services. She is an absolute gem.

Before I started going to the salon, my hair was completely bleached and damaged. It would constantly break, especially at the ends, and it never grew past a certain length because of how weak it was. I had no idea how to get it healthy again—until I started going to the salon and Alicia taught me how to really take care of my hair.

She explained the importance of trimming the ends, not foiling every single strand, using the right products for my hair type, and properly nourishing my hair from scalp to ends on a daily basis.

Now, with the beautiful new salon, it feels even more private and exclusive. It’s so peaceful and calm while you’re getting your natural hair look done—with minimal foils and maximum care. My hair has never looked healthier! It’s getting thicker, stronger, longer, and healthier every time.

I definitely recommend the hair salon for anyone wondering! I can’t wait for my next appointment!

Having had many disappointing cuts and colours over the last few years that have also cost a lot of money, I am so delighted to have found Alicia. On my first visit to Alicia, she was so professional and listened to my concerns about how unhappy I was with the highlights I had recently had at another hairdresser, which were dark and dull. While I was commuting to Brisbane to my long term hairdresser, I was increasingly frustrated that they (stylist and colorist) were not listening and still charging big $$$. Like most women, I was apprehensive about choosing a new hairdresser and received many suggestions from friends etc but I was not convinced. I did my research and found Alicia. Her extensive background and her response when I finally called her put me at ease. At my first appointment, I was able to tell Alicia what I liked and did not like about my hair and she 'got it' and then offered suggestions and a path forward. I am now getting great feedback from friends and her tips have helped me improve the condition of my hair. I really wish I had found Alicia much earlier. Highly recommend.

My hairdresser of 10 years was no longer able to do my hair and I was very anxious about finding a new hairdresser. I found Alicia on Word of Mouth and when we spoke she immediately put me at ease. Booking with Alicia was really easy and when I went into the salon she really took her time with me to work out what I wanted for my hair. She was very professional, very friendly and I am so pleased with my new hair. I have really thick, frizzy hair so it can be really hard to manage sometimes but Alicia has given me lots of tips on how to handle this and so far they are really working. Alicia was recommended by a friend who has been seeing her as a client for a couple of yrs, and whose hair always looks fantastic. I had a funeral to attend and my regular hairdresser was away. Alicia had never met me before. Yet her experience and knowledge Re colour gave me a look that took 10years off me. The colour cut and blow wave were all incredible and I received many complements from those who know me and those at the funeral who haven’t seen me for 10/15 years couldn’t believe how much I seemed the same. Thank you Alicia for your incredible knowledge and expertise, particularly would have made my Dad proud seeing me looking so nice for his final farewell.

Alicia has been my hairdresser for over one year. I get my regrowth and color every four weeks. I needed to soften and lighten my hair color by a couple of shades. Alicia did this gradually without the use of harsh bleach and now my color is soft and beautiful. The condition of my hair has improved, I love my cut and the color looks amazing with lovely sun kissed natural highlights.. totally reliable. Alicia is an amazing hairdresser. Professional and is a stylist that you can trust to make you look and feel beautiful. I was so scared to change my hairdresser after all the years I had been going to another and my hair is very thick, dry, hard to manage being off European background, however after Alicia and I had a consult about my expectations and what I wanted, I knew there was no reason to worry. I am glad I did as I have now been a client of hers for the past year. She is the best.

Highly recommend Alicia. I was extremely happy with my cut and colour. I had my hair coloured with another hairdresser while travelling in Central Queensland and was unhappy with the result. Alicia listened to my concerns and clearly communicated what she could do to improve the colour. She also gave me some good maintenance advice.

Her cuts are so skilfully done that the style lasts between visits and is so easy to maintain. She is also a master colourist and has transformed my hair from a damaged, peroxide-looking mess to a vibrant blonde I’ve been wanting for years. I also love the way Alicia takes the time at every visit to consult you about your hair and give you great, practical tips to help you maintain your cut and colour. AND, because of Alicia’s cutting & colouring skills, I can extend the time between visits.
