Very poor customer service. Had Crimsafe installed but the follow up for warranty is very poor. First warranty check they cancelled & did not re book. I had to chase them. When they did show up they said the window was showing signs of corrosion and that was it. I had to call them back 3 months later to say its getting worse. They took pics & said would lodge a claim with crimsafe and that was 3 months ago. I called them a week ago & sorry to say, still waiting. Will never recommend or use them again.

in 2018 my wife and I purchased Crimsafe security Screens from Alcom Security. The best decision we ever made. Price wise and that feeling of total security cannot be beaten. Jenny BROWN and the team at Alcom Security are the best in the business. I am a retired NSW Police Officer and I totally recommend this company to do business with as they have the best products. Recently (July 2019) I had Crimsafe window screens and doors put on my home. I have a number of stacker doors so was a bot worried about how it would work. Jenny did the scheduling and went out of her way to fit in with my schedule getting the measuring done on a weekend. Quentin was very knowledgeable and professional and answered all my questions. Then Jenny also worked to get the installation done on a weekend to fit my schedule. Thank you Simon and very nice courteous gentleman who worked all day doing the installation, a real Energiser bunny. He was also the neatest tidest worker I have seen and cleaned up beautifully even vacuuming around the installation. I am extremely happy with the work done and with the product. You see the Crimsafe ads and it looks good but it is not until you see it in place that you realise just how good it looks while also being so secure. The doors with the three point locking system give me that extra piece of mind. The windows are strong, solid and secure but you still have great airflow and good views through them. I highly recommend Alcom and their staff Jenny Quentin and Simon. Thank you all.

The team at Alcom have been professional and helpful throughout the installation process. The measuring and quoting team were prompt and able to offer suggestions that accommodated for the unique nature of our property. They were flexible where adjustments were needed. The installation team was great, and the work was of a very high standard. We would highly recommend them if you are considering installing security screens.

Often it has been said "Security is only as good as those who implement it". It requires one to make decisions around the fundamental objective of minimizing criminal activity. Not all security products are the same.

In my case, whilst price played it's part, I felt Alcom Security's fundamental differences, to those of their competitors, won the day. Those differences being:-Parrot beak hooking locks: Stainless Steel Locks; Heavy Duty Interlock; Mesh screwed into the frame (not just wedged in to the frame with plastic or rubber) & Higher Tensile strength Stainless Steel Mesh.

Besides the technical differences, I found Alcom Security to be financially competitive in their offerings to Police & Emergency Services personnel. Currently I'm an active member in a Retired Police Association & became aware of Alcom Security's products when they presented to our Northern Brisbane Branch (NSW Retired Police Association).

Having decided on the price & technical issues, I have found the sales process, measurements & installation to be undertaken with high professionalism. Alcom Security undertake 'Post Installation Inspections' on their Crimsafe products, even on a yearly basis. Cannot ask better than that for 'Customer Service Awareness".

The only good service I have received from this company was from the sales person. All other aspects of their customer service have been shocking. People not turning up within the time slots they specify more then once. They couldn't even be bothered to phone to let me know they're running late, they left me to chase them up.
Came to install and had the wrong door so had to come back another day.
I also think they're over priced. I wish I had shopped around more, my own fault.
I couldn't recommend this company to anyone. There are plenty of other companies who install Crimsafe

Just had my Crimsafe and 3M Security Film installed by Alcom Security. From the first point of contact, through meeting with the rep, and the installations team, we were informed every step of the way. Our products were measured, made and installed all within 2 weeks, and after being broken into recently that was such a relief. Thanks to everyone at Alcom I am so happy with my new doors and windows and I will definitely be recommending them.

Completely disappointed with the service from Alcom Security. Received a quote for Crimsafe doors, which was completely over inflated (which I figured was a sales ploy given they were over double the price of other quotes for the same product). When a written quote was received, it was substantially less, so much to the point where it seemed like a typographical error. There was no detail in the quote, other then to say "supply and install". I had quotes from other suppliers which went into detail regarding triple locks, flush bolts, keyed alike etc. We had 7 days to accept this price, and when signed, the 'contract' was binding (even though the company had yet to sign!). When I emailed to asked further questions regarding the doors supplied and the install, I received no response for two days. I called, and the person who supplied the quote did not seem to know much about what was actually provided. They said they would call back that same day after speaking to the installation team. No response. I email again quoting the 7 day timeframe, and could they please get back to me. No response. Two weeks later, and still no contact. Extremely poor customer service, and will not be recommending them to anyone.

Thanks to Alcom Security again for your excellent service. My family and I organised Alcom Security to install Crimsafe on our home in Logan a little while ago. Why, well that part is easy to answer. They were a long established reputable company who provided excellent service (even visiting us on a weekend which was great as we are never home during the week), their salesman was prompt and very knowledgable, and the whole installation was completed efficiently and quickly. Overall, professional service from start to finish. We even recommended Alcom to two of our friends who chose to use them to install Security on their homes. Now that the family is relocating, I've contacted Alcom Security again to organise an on site after hours meeting for my free quote -job done. Thanks guys Kev

Just had to say how delighted we are with our Crimsafe screens and doors. We had our new home completely fitted with Crimsafe doors and screens by Alcom Security, and the whole event was made so easy for us. The friendly sales person, the office staff and their experienced technician made our installation smooth and seamless. We are so happy with the whole experience that we had to let everyone know. Whilst our Crimsafe was installed over 12 months ago, we felt compelled to write this due to the fact that, to our great surprise, Alcom contacted us to carry out a free 12 month inspection. We were advised that this inspection is then carried out every three years from now on - wow how great is that? - Well done ALCOM. Requested a written and itemised quote for security products. Was quoted nearly twice the competitor rates, and told I was getting a great deal......$1000 off the normal price. Salesperson treated me like a stupid housewife, and refused to leave a written quote. Then asked to call my husband at work, when I said Id have to discuss it with him. The salesperson then threw a business card at me and promptly left. Two weeks later, they called me and rudely ask me why I hadn't booked a time for a quote. They also said it was 'company policy' never to quote when only the wife was home, and that both husband and wife had to be home. Really really disgraceful behaviour for a company.

I would have to agree with Ampoule's reviews. I had another company do our first quote and it seems that I had the same staff who was friendly, on time and had all the crimsafe gear to show me how its built and works and left a quote with no pressure. Had another quote from another company which they just did a measure and quote and left no pressure. Had the sales rep from Alcom come on a saturday morning, staff started off chatting about nothing important and this was a little bit frustrating as I had some where to be and it was suppose to be just a measure and quote (which the other two were done within 30min) staff finally did the measuring after about 30min of chatting and showing us photos of previous work and gear. In that time of showing us the photos and gear staff said that the company they work for are the only ones that use 3M window security tint yet a simple Google search proved wrong and showed other companies endorsed by the manufacturer on their website (3M) yet Alcom not even mentioned. Staff said the locking system they use on their crimsafe doors by saying they're the only ones that use it and that its a brand new design yet I've personally seen this system in use about 10 years ago on non crimsafe doors. Staff was about $4000+ more expensive then the other two quotes which staff offered to do a better price if they could see the quotes and stated it was company policy that if they were to beat the price they would have to take the other quotes with them. Staff was very pushy in us signing a contract and wouldn't take no for an answer to the point we signed a contract for two doors (no deposit paid so we could back out of contract on monday) to get them out of the house, which was about an hour and a half later. I had to take photos of the two other quotes as we had no way of photocopying them. I also put in a complaint with the head office. Me and my wife felt pressured by the sales rep and do not recommend anyone using them or even getting a quote from them.
