For the past 5 years, Alan has been cutting and colouring my mothers hair and it has never looked so good! The other day my mum took my Aunty and I have ever never seen her hair look so good!!! 30 years and no one has ever gotten her hair colour right .. but you have perfected it.

How I lived my life without Sonja and the Alan Coban salon is unknown!! Excellent service, excellent end product! And best of all a proper manager operating the store so your hair isn’t interrupted constantly with your hair dresser tending to phone calls or walk ins mid colour. Brilliant!

Last Saturday I had an appointment for a colour & cut at Alan Coban in the CBD. From the time I booked the appointment to the time my appointment finished was a great experience. Politeness, professionalism & proficiency comes to mind.....the cut & colour was fantastic & the hair wash & massage was the best I‘ve had!!

I made an appointment with Alan Coban at Burwood after being disappointed with my previous hairdressers. They were amazing. I finally got the shade of dark chocolate I wanted as well as a fabulous new haircut. The hairdresser gave me great advice, listened to what I wanted and did not push for more than I needed. Friendly staff and quality products. I will definitely book all my future appointments with Alan Coban.

Coban at burwood was fantastic I have just starting going there and the service was good until I went there for foils at the back of my head to lighten it up the same as the front and to have my roots done instead he completely darkened my colour gave me a balinese colour which I didnt ask for had nearly black run thru my foils not one person liked it I asked him what colour my base was he said 7 or 8 went to another hairdresser the colour was 4 she has tried to take out the deep brown as my colour now is a dirty blonde and there is to much brown thru it to make it what it was also my hair dosent sit properly I wish I never went tbere though the owner was good he did my hair when I first went there and every body loved it but no one can believe how my hair looked good to being awful in a month considering zi had paid 300 dollars a month before to lighten my foils and a 100 dollars for treatment a week ago and 395 dollars to have it completely destroyed
Thats 795 dollars in one month for nothing the hairdresser was more concerned about his ego than doing what I asked for
How would you feel if you found dark brown nearly black run thru your foils that you paid money for previously I have never in my life seen a hairdresser with so much ego only meeting his needs and so full of himself

They are amazing and never leave you disappointed. Great great experience. Already booked next appointment.

I've been coming to Alan Coban (Bondi and then CBD) for over 6 years and I wont go anywhere else for my colour! The customer service is fantastic and I always make me feel like I'm the most important person there. I'm constantly complimented on the colour which shows how good they are! 5 stars to my favourite hairdresser!

I wouldn't have it any other way best salon and hair dressers to date and I have seen many! Sonya gets it right the first time and If you know me I am fussy. The blonde is always perfect no brassy undertones. I trust them with anything they do. I have had long hair for years 20 to be exact! so to be able to go and have a full makeover was traumatic for anyone other than Sonya and Alan! I absolutely love the hair the colour and it has knocked years off me the compliments are second to none! love everything about my hair totally and utterly recommend this salon to anyone who wants a true makeover or blonde makeover!!! I went to this salon after reading such good reviews, only to be very disappointed in the cut and the experience. The stylist was less than professional, in subjecting me to listen to her life story, relationships, future hopes and dreams, without much input or suggestions as to what I should do with my hair (I like people with ideas). It was not a pleasant experience. I am very fussy with my hair and the cut was terrible, without any real style and finnesse. I won't be back and couldn't recommend it as a top styling salon. It didn't meet the mark for me
