We were seated at a table only to find it had ants crawling all over it. We were seated at another table across the floor, but this also had ants all over it. The staff suggested we move to the sports bar. The atmosphere in there wasn’t exactly what we were hoping for but we decided to make the most of it. Most of the meals were ok, however mine had broccolini on it that was yellow and at the point of flowering, so I was a bit concerned about the freshness of the food served. The prices were good, and there was variety.
I ordered the big breakfast, which was massive! There was 2 large pieces of bread, bacon, eggs done to your liking, avocado, chutney, mushrooms and spinach. We ordered at the counter and our meals were delivered to our counter. The staff member serving us at the counter was fantastic, very patient as we made our choices and some of my group requested changes to their orders. Must be a popular place because it was full of people the whole time we were there.
Popped in here for a quick work lunch. Most of us ordered salads. I had the calamari salad, and was impressed with the amount of calamari in it. It was delicious too! The meals were a good size too, I didn’t get through all of mine. Nice chai latte too.
We had a work lunch for 6 people here. Staff set up tables in the back room for us so we had a nice space. I had smoked salmon on kipfler potato with a side of polenta chips. The meals were really delicious, and the service was amazing. Staff are very attentive and accommodating with a sense of humour, which I loved.
I arrived half an hour early for some training for work, so had some time to kill in the morning and decided to try the closest coffee shop for a drink. I found Cloud Milk and ordered a chai latte. I paid $4.50 and received a very large mug of one of the best chai lattes I have had. The staff were also very friendly and attentive.
This is a quirky little cafe, hidden away down an alley next to the Novotel on the waterfront. The cafe is small with a nice little outside seating section, surrounded with planter boxes with flowers and herbs. I love that all of the chairs are yellow except for one that is white! I ordered "The Roll", egg, bacon and baby spinach on a toasted roll with a tomato relish. Delisious! Very nice for brunch, and reasonably priced. Open 8 - 3 and serving all day breakfast options.

What an awesome find that was recommended to us by a local on the street when they heard we were looking for a good cafe to have brunch at. The breakfast rolls were delicious, and teamed with a cold glass of kombutcha it was the perfect meal to have before heading off to see a show at Flemington Racecourse. You have to try the chocolate brownies!
This is the place to go if you want to spoil yourself. Great attention to detail, amazing hair colouring and cuts and some fantastic skin products and makeup.
Friends took me to Parkers for dinner. They requested Bloody Mary drinks made there with clamato juice, they were surprisingly good. I ordered the porterhouse, and it was delicious. Always good service with attentive friendly staff too.
The food and service at Centra is wonderful. The staff are so attentive. We started with the focaccia, which was really good. I then had the salmon wrapped in prosciutto with eggplant caponata. It was a big serve, and delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly. I finished with the sorbet. All of the desserts are made in house. I am keen to go back and try the pizzas. I would recommend making a booking, it is very popular and there didn't seem to be any empty tables. You can order pizzas or antipasti to eat in the bar or beer garden section though, so there is plenty of room if you wanted to drop in unplanned.
