I arrived half an hour early for some training for work, so had some time to kill in the morning and decided to try the closest coffee shop for a drink. I found Cloud Milk and ordered a chai latte. I paid $4.50 and received a very large mug of one of the best chai lattes I have had. The staff were also very friendly and attentive.
Great coffee. Raspberry white choc muffin to die for. Beautiful lunch menu. I had the best Apricot Teacake. Make sure you grab a sunny spot upstairs near the window.
Went here for the first time for lunch as was very impressed. It has funky decor, nice coffee and the food was very nice, I hd the quinoa salad. Its also child friendly as it has some toys, a kids menu and a change table in the bathroom. Will visit again.
Had scrambled eggs on sourdough toast and a cup of tea, service was bit slow, it wasn't busy, food quality has decreased, as has the cleanliness of the store, which bit of a shame as it used to be a really nice café, but not what it used to be.

Milk Cloud make the most delicious coffee! I like the environment and service too. They have a great menu and use good quality ingredients in everything they make (including the coffee!) I usually get a cake with my coffe, there is always something yummy on offer and alot of their cakes are gluten free which is good to know they cater for people with allergies/food intolerance.
This strip has about 7 cafes which seems too many, however have had brunch here on a couple of Sundays when the others were full.
The food was okay, but seemed to come from miles away and was not always hot when served. The menu is not large. Service is very basic - order at the counter, one till, long queue.
Seems to be frequented by bicycle riders. MAMLs abound.
I would not recommend it.
However, it is animal-friendly (water bowls outside the door etc) so you might consider it if you're with Fido.

Popped into Milk Cloud yesterday after reading the reviews on WOMOW. Only had a coffee which was very nice a d my daughter loved her hot chocolate. Will definitely go back for lunch soon as their special written up on the board at the coj ter sounded amazing!

Great little cafe! Yummy food. especially the focaccias! Really quick service which is great when you have a limited lunch break. The people are all really lovely and prices are reasonable.

I went here for a cuppa and a cake, and having being here a couple of times before I forgot they have a all day breakfast. So I had the best tasting scrambled eggs on sourdough toast that id had in a long time, the service is friendly and very prompt. I also highly recommend the football shape gingerbread which is full of flavour and fresh.
I was very impressed with the coffee, great quality. Staff are very friendly, and close to the walking track, so its in a great location.
This cafe resturant has great service, food, drinks and staff are very polite, this is my favourite Cafe in Ashburton prices are a little expensive but you wont be dissaponted in the quality. All day breakfast which are delicous.
