Just before christmas my girlfriend and I decided to try The Hub Tandoor instead of our usual hub pizza or kfc as it had been open for awhile and we had been looking forward to trying. We were not disappointed. We didn't eat in just picked up some takeaway as the dining area was fairly full and didn't look all that spacious. Their pakoras tasted fabulous as well as my prawn curry, quite a few dishes to choose from and all sounded delicious. Our order was ready within about 20 minutes and found the staff to be friendly. Will be dining in next time. Well worth a try.
Had a coffee here before getting my hair cut. Nice coffee, comfortable seating and pleasant staff. They had a good amount of food on offer but I was intending on going out for lunch with my girlfriend later, so I didn't want to spoil it. Will definitely try next time as it did look appetising.
Have been here a number of times mainly for takeaway, but most recently my girlfriend and I decided to have a sit down meal. Once again I enjoyed my garlic prawns and chicken satay and my girlfriend the honey chicken, all our meals were delicious and the servings quite generous. Fortunately it wasn't busy so we had the full attention of the staff which was great, our meals ready promptly, drinks refilled. It was a great experience and we certainly hope to repeat it. I think next time we will try the banquet as it really looked good, but will definitely need an empty stomach for that.
Decided to get a haircut before picking up my girlfriend for lunch. These guys were great, didn't need an appointment, just walked in and was immediately shown to a chair. Very quick service, friendly staff and I thought the price was really good, only $26 for a mens cut. Would definitely return and definitely recommend.
Always a great spot for a fresh coffee and sometimes a light meal. Looking forward to trying breakfast next time as my friends informed me that they are pretty good. A pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff.
Have only had take away from here but definitely will be dining in some time soon. They offer some delicious meals, lunchtime is best because you can try a couple of different curries and rice for around $10, which is a bargain. The vindaloo is fabulous. Very nice flavours and prompt friendly service.
You will find Jack Ruby in a basement off king william street, nicely decorated and comfortable, we felt like we were in an American Diner.
I tried this place out with a group of friends for a christmas get together as we had heard some good things about it. We started with some jalapeno poppers which could have been a bit hotter and cooked longer. The mac n cheese balls were interesting and loved by all as were the buffalo wings. My Tex Walker burger certainly was tasty but not worth the $20. However, the onion rings were worth every cent, an absolute must have.
Service were friendly but very slow, although they were extremely busy. At least all the meals and drinks arrived together. They offer some very tasty meals, but I think the prices are a bit high, will only return for a special occasion.

As you can tell from my reviews I really enjoy a great burger. But this is one place I will not be trying again. I tried this place with a group of friends and we all left disappointed. Our buns tasted old/dry, wasn't well presented, fell apart before even trying to take one bite, the service was slow. It took 30 minutes before we received our order and will not say it was worth the wait. We certainly have tasted better and will not be giving them another try as there are so many other great burger joints around.
Not my usual place to pick up some fish and chips in Victor Harbor but once again the other one was so busy and we were all way tooo hungry to wait.
Real value for money fish and chips is what you get here, very generous with their servings, fresh fish, crispy chips and fab burgers. Basically no waiting time, ready in a flash which suited us perfectly.
This really is a great cafe! My girlfriend and I had a very enjoyable breakfast here late last year. Our meals were of a decent size, were well presented and they used very fresh ingredients. Coffee was also great! Will definitely be returning for lunch soon.
Highly recommend.
