This is a nice little cafe, comfortable, relaxing, friendly staff and excellent coffee. Menu looked really inviting but was only in need of a refreshment. Many vegetarian meals to choose from and anyone with a sweet tooth will definitely be satisfied. Hence, I must return with my girlfriend.
This place is always busy, which is a really good sign that it's great. Well, I can confirm it, I have devoured a few steaks here now, meat is perfect, tender, juicy and most important, not chewy. Prices are great at around $11+ for a generous amount. Lunch time really gets busy yet they still seem to get through the line of people very quickly.
A great lunch spot at a reasonable price.
A very nice indian restaurant, my girlfriend and I decided to give it a try after reading a previous review. We tried the butter chicken and lamb rogan josh, so delicious, full of delicious flavours but not overwhelming. Went well with some rice and garlic naan. We found the servings were generous and was glad we only ordered 2 main meals as we usually order 3 to share. Very pleasant attentive staff. We will return.
This is a great old friendly pub, quality meals, very generous servings and reasonably priced. They offer lunch specials mon - fri for around $10 which includes the salad and veg bar. Crumbed prawns and chips, great value for only $10.90, my girlfriend enjoyed her fish and chips for only $9.90 So if you are in the area during the week, this is your must try for lunch, excellent value, delicious meals and very nice staff.
Such a great location, pleasant views, delicious food and friendly staff. I have enjoyed breakfast , burgers and fish and chips many times, always reliable. Great in the summer months, ordering takeaway and then sitting by the seaside.
Had dinner here with my girlfriend and her family friday night. I will not say it was a fabulous experience, not a lot on the menu and it was very pricey, I found it difficult to find a meal for less than $20. I decided fish and chips was the go, being fish and chips I expected to receive a decent amount of chips with my fish. Instead, my plas was almost hare, 2 average pieces of fish and maybe '10' chips, which by the way were undercooked. My fish was ok but not worth $20. Most of the group had schnitzel or steak and no one was overally impressed.
Very pricey, average meals and servings and also not very friendly. A disappointing evening for all.
I do like this old pub in willunga, it's very welcoming and the food certainly has improved since my last visit. For an entree i tried their sticky ribs, they had a real smokey flavour and the meat just fell apart, they were awesome. I then couldn't wait to try theirchargrilled scotch fillet steak, it was one of the best medium steaks I had ever had. My friends also enjoyed their fish and chips, schnitzel and chicken burger. Their onion rings and chili cheese fries are a must try, we all shared our entrees, absolutely delicious. Great value, was not disappointed.
Not really a cafe for me, a bit to out there, very funky and colourful. My coffee was good and food average, my salt and pepper calamari was disappointing with taste and the serving size, for around $18 I expected more, it seemed like they gave me an entree serving. My girlfriend tried the steak sandwich and said she enjoyed it, overall I wished we had eaten elsewhere, but we wanted to give it a try.
Disappointing.
Was looking for a new mattress at Le Cornu and after my successful shop decided I needed a coffee. The Le Cornu Cafe isn't a large cafe but it does offer some great coffee and a good choice of meals. I had previously tried their yiros, it was pretty good, would have liked my sauce but at least the meat wasn't tough/chewy.
With having friends over, I picked up a few pizzas nearby and then some chips and salads from here. About $6 of chips and 1/2 a chicken definitely satisfied 5 people. Was very busy but fortunately didn't have to wait long. Staff were friendly and prices reasonable.
