When I am in Aldinga this is my go to for a coffee, pie and of course a spectacular doughnut. The quality of the coffee and food is second to none, no complaints here. I always leave satisfied. Very nice staff.
My girlfriend and I were looking forward to our meals after finding a nice seat outside on such a nice day. However, we were let down by the staff, who were so slow and when our meals finally arrived, they were wrong. Not only that, when the meals we ordered finally arrived they were nothing special, looked like something I would make at home, average tasting. A real let down.
I love the location of this cafe, the staff are always friendly and quick with our meals but my last two encounters were not all that flash. Our meals were below average, cold and certainly not appetising. What has happened? Maybe a change in the kitchen, definitely not for the better. I will still give this cafe another try but it will be sometime.
They have really made the outside eating area a lot nicer, alot more enjoyable now. As for their pies, well they are amazing, certainly competing with our local bakery. But their donuts are one of the reasons why I go here, they are fantastic.
Staff are always friendly, a great cafe in Meadows.
My girlfriend and I went to an early movie session so this restaurant would be open once it finished. We were really looking forward to a fabulous dinner, we were not disappointed. They outdid themselves, I didn't think their dishes could improve, but they did. The portions are always generous and so authentic, just the right amount of heat, their naans are huge we only ordered one to share. The staff are always attentive, very happy with our meal. Thanks guys.
I never seem to be able to pass up salt & pepper squid, if it is on the menu then I simply must have it. They guys do it particularly well, very fresh, so good. The staff are always quick with my order and my meal is always very delicious.
I purchased some very tasty sausages and steak last week and they went really well on the bbq, real quality steak and flavorsome snaggs. All plates were cleared.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, full of smiles.
The chicken and chips were not great and extremely pricey. Dry chicken, soggy chips - interesting combination. The salads were ok, staff very slow.
This certainly is one of the best Foodlands I have shopped in, heaps of variety, fruit and veg looked and tasted very fresh, meat was very nicely priced and very quick at the checkout.
Perfect for takeaway when very hungry or on your way home. Many delicious choices and well priced. Loved the combination hot box, service was quick.
