I was looking for some decent christmas cards and found Campbell's came to the rescue, a great selection and reasonably priced, also helped out with a few gifts.
This is a good spot to take a break from shopping in the Central Market, coffee was good, cakes and biscuits delicious, service was friendly and swift.
Another get together with friends before Christmas. We were all very impressed with this place, so friendly, great atmosphere and the perfect menu, so many options, everyone was happy. I tried the Sambousik - a woodfired pita pocket filled with seasoned meat, pine nuts and hommus - so good, and priced at only $10, what a bargain. We tried the "inferno" wood oven pizza and it was fabulous. Salads and dips were also consumed, no complaints here, just praise. We shall return.
Once again, another perfect cafe for my vegan friends. I really enjoyed my coffee and my friends enjoyed their vegie meals, I wasn't overly hungry at the time and picked up some take out on my way home. Staff were friendly, everyone had a great lunch.
This is a very modern restaurant with impressive authentic, flavoursome meals. I was catching up with friends before christmas and found this to be perfect. Everything was presented nicely in stainless steel bowls, very aromatic and extremely tasty, the portions could have been more generous, the staff very friendly and attentive.
This is a fabulous cafe for the very health conscious, many great offerings, smoothies, fresh juices, many vegetable items. I just enjoyed my coffee, which was quite good whilst my friends enjoyed items on their menu. To me this is the silly season and I don't with to be overly healthy at the moment, I want to indulge!
A very friendly bakery, I really only go here for the donuts, they seem to specialise in them, my girlfriends and nearly all my friends can't resist them and I have enjoyed a few myself. They are offering some very festive creative ones at the moment. I will probably purchase one of their huge ones for my girlfriends birthday cake next year, she will love it.
This is one bakery I really need to avoid because it is sooo GOOD! The staff are so friendly and they offer the most delicious, flavoursome savoury and sweet treats that cannot be resisted. Love their pies, sausage rolls, pasties, cupcakes, vanilla slices and tarts. But now being christmas, they have so much more on offer, I purchased a couple of their reindeer cupcakes for my girlfriend. As a special early christmas treat for my family I purchased one of their delectable, overindulgent 'Yule Logs". OMG! That sums it up.
Why did we bother???? My friend was desperate for some indian so stopped in for a quick meal, I was against this, but my friend insisted on giving them a try. It was expensive, our meals contained minimal meat and lacked flavour (reminded me of a microwave meal) and as for our naan, basically not worth mentioning. Overall, a very disappointed meal. My friend said he would take my advice next time.
My girlfriend and I had been christmas shopping and stopped in for a coffee on our way home. I enjoyed a sausage roll and my girlfriend a sandwich closely followed by some delicious cake. This is a very clean, tidy, friendly cafe offering a great menu and somewhere pleasant to stop for a meal, coffee and catch up with a small group of friends.
