We have been on Pops Cruises a few times before and I think they are getting even better as Pop is an entertainer as well as being the cruise manager. The last time we went up the river with our family up from Brisbane and a couple of friends in Townsville and we all had a great day. We had a couple of stops and also Pop explained the history of the place to us all. The grandchildren really enjoyed it and we have pictures of them "driving" the boat which they were anxious to show their school friends when they got back to Brisbane. Also Heather excels herself in looking after the guests.

Approximate cost: $30 each

We have been a few times on the cruises on Lake Ross and up the Ross River. The scenery in the Ross River is quite spectacular and the wildlife is a delight to see. I can't think of anywhere else that you could get a two and a half hour cruise for less than thirty dollars. Pop and Heather really make you feel part of the "family"
