Terrii is a little dressmaker shop in Maleny run by (surprise, surprise) Terrii.

She runs a small little shop doing everything from alterations to reproductions to designs. She does a fantastic job, gives great service and is a wonderful person. Her shop is always busy, and, as is the Maleny way, people are always popping in for a chat while she works, or to ply her with coffee or food (it pays to be nice to your small business owner!).

Next time you need some alterations made, or a dress for your prom/wedding/etc., definitely get in touch with Terrii. You won't regret it!

I don't drink a lot of coffee. It's not that I don't like coffee, it's just that I don't like bad coffee. I'm tired of buying a coffee to find that it's burnt, undrinkable and unpleasant. My first thought on drinking the Latte I bought here was "This is how all coffee should be!"

The place itself is a little hole-in-the-wall type business. It's not on Park Road, so most people will miss it, but it is well worth the extra two minute walk to get here. That's probably less than the amount of time you'll spend in line waiting for an inferior coffee on Park Road.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and give great service and great coffee.

Next time you're in Milton, forget about Park Road, make the extra effort, and enjoy a much better coffee experience!

I've been visiting the RE since 1990 (am I really that old?) and things have definitely changed over the years. It's gone from a seedy student bar with a dingy public bar, to a seedy student bar, with a dingy public bar, and some pool tables, a TAB, a pokies room and a nicer upstairs area.

The RE know how to target their audience, and they do it well. They still provide beer, meals and entertainment, and when you're so close to a university, that's exactly what you need to do.

The place can get crowded on the traditional busy nights, making for a long wait to get a drink, a meal, or use the toilets, but that is just a sign of their popularity. If people weren't willing to put up with it, they wouldn't.

I used to live across the road from these guys. I knew them well enough to wave hello and that was about it. When we moved into a rental house in Indooroopilly we started to have problems with our circuit breaker constantly getting tripped. Our landlord kept calling out his electrician (whose name eludes me) and after three attempts at fixing the problem (every time he came out we were assured the problem was fixed) it was still not fixed. In the end he asked if we knew of an electrician and the Purvis name came to mind.

They came out the next day, and we finally introduced each other (after waving to them for years, we didn't even know each others names). They actually did something the other electrician hadn't done - actually have a look around the place. In no time at all they discovered that a rat had been chewing at one of the wires under the house (the other electrician had thought it was maybe a light fitting, or the fuses, or something) and had the problem fixed.

I'm glad we called them - they gave us great service and actually wanted to fix the problem on their first visit!

After recently hearing about this place I finally made it there for lunch yesterday, as I had been thinking about ribs all weekend. I was not disappointed. The ribs were great - perfectly cooked, juicy, and with a great sauce. I didn't need a napkin, because I licked my fingers clean. And for $17? Outstanding value for 600 grams of ribs and 300 grams of wedges with sour cream.

I'll definitely be back - I might even try a pizza next time, but I am curious as to how good the nachos, pasta, potato bake and everything else is. I might have to make it a regular Sunday thing!
